🐾💚 Yes, Your Pet Can Feel Stress Too

Just like us, pets experience stress—and sometimes it shows up in ways that are easy to miss. During Mental Health Awareness Month, it’s a good reminder that emotional well-being is part of your pet’s overall health, too.

Changes in routine, new environments, loud noises, or even subtle shifts at home can leave pets feeling anxious or unsettled. You might notice things like pacing, clinginess, hiding, changes in appetite, or unusual behavior—they’re often your pet’s way of saying, “something feels off.”

The good news? Small, consistent habits can make a big difference. Predictable routines, regular exercise, enrichment, and a calm environment all help pets feel more secure and balanced.

And if something doesn’t seem quite right, it’s always worth checking in. You know your pet best—and support is always here when you need it.

🐾 Weekend Warrior Pets: Sound Familiar? 😅

Couch potato Monday–Friday…
Extreme athlete by Saturday. 💥🐶

If your pet goes from chill mode to full-speed adventures on the weekend, you’re not alone—but this sudden spike in activity is exactly why we see more injuries this time of year (especially in May!).

🌼 Warmer weather = more hikes, runs, fetch marathons
⚡ But muscles, joints, and paws may not be conditioned for it
🚑 Result? Strains, sprains, sore pads, and unexpected vet visits

💡 Just like us, pets need to build up their stamina. Gradual increases in activity can help prevent injuries and keep the fun going all season long.

✔️ Start slow after a sedentary week
✔️ Take breaks + bring water
✔️ Watch for limping or fatigue

Because nobody wants their weekend adventure to end early 🐕

📞 If your pet seems sore or off after activity, don’t wait—reach out to us.

💛 The Small Things That Mean a Lot to Us

You might not realize it, but the little things you do matter more than you know.

✨ Calling with questions — even the “small” ones
✨ Scheduling preventive visits
✨ Following up to let us know your pet is feeling better
✨ Trusting our team with big decisions

Veterinary care is a partnership. And when you stay engaged, ask questions, and show up for your pet — it makes a difference.

We don’t take that trust lightly.

Thank you for letting us be part of your pet’s life — from routine checkups to the moments that matter most. 💛

Happy Veterinary Receptionist/CSR Appreciation Week to Michelle and Andrea! 🤍🐾

We want to thank you for the work you do everyday. From greeting every pet (and their humans) with warmth and compassion, to juggling calls, schedules, and everything in between.

We’re grateful for your steady presence, your care, and the way you support both our team and the families who walk through our doors. Thank you for everything you do!! 🫶

🔎🐾 This Is Why Google Can’t Diagnose Your Pet

We get it. When something feels off, the first instinct is to search.

But here’s what online advice often misses:

✨ What the internet can’t see
Your pet’s full history, lifestyle, subtle physical exam findings, and tiny changes that only show up in person.

✨ Why symptoms overlap
Vomiting, limping, itching, lethargy — these can point to dozens of very different conditions. Some minor. Some urgent. The symptoms alone don’t tell the whole story.

✨ Why exams + tests matter
Hands-on exams, diagnostics, and lab work help us narrow down possibilities and treat the right issue — not just the most common one.

Searching doesn’t make you a bad pet parent. It makes you concerned. 💛
But when it comes to medical answers, your pet deserves more than a guess.

If you’re unsure, even a quick call can help point you in the right direction. We’re here to guide — not judge.

🌷🐾 Spring: A Pet’s Perspective

POV: The air smells different.
The door opens more often.
The outside world is suddenly… very interesting.

“I don’t know what’s going on, but I need to investigate immediately.”

More walks to request.
More windows to supervise.
More squirrels to monitor.
More grass to dramatically roll in.

Spring brings fresh energy — and sometimes a little extra scratching, sneezing, or post-zoomie soreness. 😉

If your pet’s spring personality seems a little extra, we’re here to help keep all that enthusiasm healthy. 💛
