Hi everyone,

Most of you know, that I don’t just have a personal training business, but I also write a children’s book series called Gib’s Adventures.

Gib and I are going to be part of the PJ Story Time at the Brant Hills library.

The story time is at the library from 6:30 - 7:00pm.

I’ll be there helping Adam with the story telling. I’ll be reading my Gib’s Bedtime Adventure book for everyone.

This is my first (but not last) time reading for the PJ Story Time.

It was a nice surprise when I pulled into my driveway to see that I’m actually on my map program.

I’ve been in this location for the past 14 years and have had Custom Fitness since 1996, but seeing this kinda gives it more of a business feel.

Here’s this Friday’s Fun Fitness Friday’s routine.

I try to think of the movement I want my client to do then come up with an exercise from what I have in my studio.

Each movement is something that you might (or might not) do every day. From picking something up from the floor to put in a high cupboard to crawling under something (like a crawl space or a climbing playground “thing” with your grandkids).

Every movement is a good movement, you just have to challenge yourself while doing it. If you always do what’s easy, you’ll start to lose the ability to do that. If you don’t challenge your muscles and joints, they have no need to stay strong.

What ever you do, just keep moving. :)

The exercises I do on Fun Fitness Friday have some sort of functionality to them.

It could be picking something up, stepping over something, rotating under tension (opening a heavy door), and so forth.

I thought I’d start posting some of them to give you ideas on what you might be able to do at home.

With basic equipment, any exercise routine can be done.
