Where are your workouts taking you? 🤔

Are you showing up for your fitness goals or just putting in random time?

It's easy to jump on a treadmill or do a random cardio class, but if you want to see real, lasting change, it's time to **put down the random cardio and pick up a plan—and some weights!**

Random cardio gives you a quick sweat, but a structured program with **strength training** does so much more:

* **You build muscle** (which boosts your metabolism and helps you burn more calories, even at rest!).

From our member Marty O:

Took part in my 1st military outdoor exercise today. Paired in teams of 2 (always have a buddy in the army).

4km run, 1km walk with 50 lbs backpack and 100m swim. Time 40 min

We finished 3rd among 70 of us. Not bad for an old fart 🤣

It was a test of resilience, strength and conditioning. All of which couldn’t have happened if I hadn’t trained at Functional Strength with Travis. Thanks Coach!

Even the metcons are important for strengthening our hearts and lungs.

Training at your current big box gym has been great. It was cheap, convenient, and had everything you needed.. until now.

Lately, your gains have stagnated.
