🚨BREAKING NEWS: I’m breaking up with my fitness tracker. 🚨
It’s not you, it’s… wait, no. It is definitely is you.

Here’s what went down:

Every luteal phase, my HRV would drop (as it’s designed to do—thanks, progesterone).

My wearable would panic.

Then I would panic.

And suddenly I’m doing “gentle movement only” because a tiny glowing circle told me I wasn’t ready for life.

Meanwhile, the research is like:
“Hey, HRV drops are normal. Also, regular exercise improves PMS by 20–40%.”

So guess what was making my PMS worse?

Me avoiding workouts because my tracker freaked me out
🙃🙃🙃

Wearables are tools, not oracles. And if yours is lowering your self-efficacy or convincing you you’re fragile, consider this your sign to take a step back.

Have you taken a break from your wearable? Let me know! 👇

Proof my kitchen cupboards are haunted… by me 👻✨

PSA: Open cupboard doors ≠ ADHD diagnosis… but it might explain the trail of snack wrappers 🍫🥴

So many women grow up thinking their ADHD traits are personality flaws — not signs of a neurodevelopmental condition that simply shows up differently in girls and women.

We’re told we’re too sensitive, too dramatic, too emotional, too disorganized, too much.

Meanwhile, we’re quietly masking, overperforming, people-pleasing, and burning out.

ADHD in women isn’t an attitude problem.
It’s not a motivation issue.
It’s not a moral failing.

It’s a brain wired for sensitivity, creativity, intuition, pattern recognition, and deep focus — when supported properly.

If any of this hits home, you’re not alone, and you’re not imagining it ✨

The gap in recognition is real — but so is the relief when you finally understand what’s been happening underneath it all.

Girls weren’t diagnosed with ADHD less because they didn’t have it…
but because the system wasn’t built with them in mind.

For decades, ADHD research focused almost entirely on boys — the loud, hyper, impulsive presentation. Meanwhile, girls showed quieter, internal symptoms that flew right under the radar.

So what happened?
📌 Masking
📌 People-pleasing
📌 “Good girl” conditioning
📌 Overcompensating until burnout

By the time many women finally receive a diagnosis, they’ve already collected anxiety, exhaustion, or depression along the way — not because they “missed the signs,” but because no one ever taught them what the signs looked like for them.

You’re not late. You’re not dramatic.
You’re just finally being seen 💕

Before you assume your ADHD meds stopped working… check this one number … 👀

Ferritin matters just as much as hemoglobin — and low iron can tank your focus, memory, energy, and dopamine production.

No, it didn’t cause your ADHD. But it can absolutely make it harder to manage.

Iron deficiency is common. And treatable.

Gas station egg salad has a 50/50 chance of giving you food poisoning, but that random supplement your favorite influencer swears by? Those odds might be worse 😳

As a naturopath, I prescribe evidence-based supplements tailored to YOUR needs and YOUR goals —not what’s trending on your feed.

The difference between targeted supplementation and random wellness products? One is medicine. The other is marketing.

Let’s have some fun. What would you trust more than TikTok supplement sales?? 🤪 Make me laugh!! 👇
