Today we opened up our doors and Christmas spirit swept right in! Many thanks to helpers Lauryn, Evan and residents for putting the dining room tree up in advance of our wonderful holiday craft and bake sale this afternoon. Then singer Tristan Alexander took the floor and our spirits rose even higher! The first holiday songs of the year are always a treat. And the Hot Chocolate Tasting bar quenched our thirst after all that singing. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Only two weeks until our Holiday Craft and Bake Sale. This year we have live entertainment by Singer Tristan Alexander and a Hot Chocolate Tasting Bar. We are accepting new, unwrapped toys for Miracle on Main Street for the Halton Police and food and hygiene items for the Burlington Food Bank. Hope to see you here!

Nothing says Thanksgiving like a piece of delicious pie! We held our annual pie social today as a fundraiser for the Alzheimer Society. Thanks to the generous attendees for supporting this worthy cause. And coming back for seconds!

Hooray for Grandparents! Last Sunday was Grandparents’ Day and we celebrated with a fancy tea party. Family, friends-and grandchildren of course- were invited for sweets and socializing. “A grandparent is a little bit parent, a little bit teacher and a little bit best friend”.

What a great day for a BBQ! We bid farewell to summer holidays with a family & friends BBQ today. Chef Tim grilled up some tasty hamburgers and hotdogs and finished it all off with a banana split. Burlington entertainer, Hayley Verrall, sang a wide range of music with her guitar. It was a real party!
