The beginning of a new year often leaves us feeling run down, exhausted, and lacking motivation.
When we feel run down, we tend to isolate from the people who bring us pleasure and withdraw from the activities we like to do.
The more we isolate and withdraw, the worse we feel. The worse we feel, the less motivated we are to make any change.
If this sounds like you, give yourself permission to schedule time for the things you enjoy doing, and even better, schedule it with the people who you enjoy. Whatever it is, prioritize you.
