Dr. Chelsey Spano Chiropractor/Acupuncture Provider Dr. Chelsey Spano is a chiropractor and a medical acupuncture provider.

She is a graduate of Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), where she achieved clinic honours designation. Prior to attending CMCC, Dr. Spano was heavily involved in athletics. This passion translated to her studies at McMaster University where she graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree. Dr. Spano practices diversified chiropractic technique, acupuncture, rehabilitation, and nutritional counseling. Dr. Spano’s mission is to promote healthy active lifestyles. Her goal is to reduce pain, improve function, and educate patients so that they may achieve and maintain an optimal quality of life.

4 decades…sounds like a lot.

And it is. A lot of lessons, and a lot of life experience in there…The great ones, good ones, less than favorable ones and downright dreadful ones too.

But I’m grateful for every single one because they have all shaped me.

To be here today to reflect on it is such a blessing. And to have the real ones in my life to celebrate it with is more than I could have ever asked for. I’m grateful for my family, the one I was given, and the one that has chosen me along the way.

So here I am…turning 40 with a full heart, gratitude for the love of my family, the strength of my body, the blessing of good health, and a career I’m proud of.

And if you know me, you know I don’t like to make a big deal about this day for a couple of reasons. (Plus it’s not just my day, happy birthday sist 😘…so a solo bday post is weird).

Nevertheless…
40 AF…and this is what we are bringing with us ‘84… a fierce, fiery + fearless mindset in the relentless pursuit of all the things that light us up. Because we can.

The ultimate in self love is CONSISTENT self care…especially on Saturday and Sunday.

Staying focused on your goals doesn’t have to feel like a drag or make your weekends boring.

Mix it up by planning activities for you and the fam that fill you with joy and a sense of pride or accomplishment.

Try that new healthy recipe you saved what forever ago?, but have yet to attempt.

Just make the commitment to love yourself enough to take care of your body for every day that ends in “day”…until the end of time.

Mondays catch a bad rap…

But really, Mondays are the ultimate motivator.

I think we can all agree it’s easiest for us to reset on a Monday and work towards a goal.

So let’s reframe the week, not just this one but every week.

And let’s be grateful for the tough-love-teacher that Monday is…because if we had Monday’s mindset every day, sticking to the plan and working towards our goal would be a lot easier.

This warm Recipe is what you need on a rainy Monday morning…

Here is one of my fave go-to high protein, highly satisfying breakfast options of choice 👇🏻

1. Combine the following and microwave for 1:30
- 1/2 cup of rolled oats
- 3/4 cup of water
- 1 cup of frozen mixed berries

2. Add in -
- 1/2 scoop of your fave protein powder
- 1 tbsp of almond butter
- 1/2 cup of sugar free Greek yogurt

3. Add cinnamon or chia seeds to top it off! And I can’t forget the side of coffee + creamer 😋

Et voila! Protein oats in under 5 minutes. Enjoy 😘
