Exciting News: FMC Is Moving to a New, Expanded Location!

FMC is thrilled to announce that as of April 22nd, we will be officially opening the doors to our brand-new home at 2349 Fairview Street, Suite 205.

This move marks an exciting new chapter for our team and the community we serve. As part of our continued commitment to offering accessible, high-quality care, our new space features eight private counselling rooms, two group rooms, and an expanded administrative office conveniently located at the main entrance. This thoughtfully designed environment will allow us to better support our clients and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all who walk through our doors.

We deeply appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this expedited transition. Moving an entire practice is no small task, and your support has made all the difference. Our team has worked diligently to ensure that services continue with as little disruption as possible, and we are confident this new space will enhance the experience for everyone—clients and staff alike.

We look forward to welcoming you to our new location and continuing to grow together in this next phase of our journey. Thank you for being a valued part of the FMC community!

Active listening includes actively paying attention when your teen speaks and engaging in conversation without judgment or criticism. The key to communication with youth is to make sure you are actively listening by putting away any distractions like your phone, stopping what you’re doing, and focusing on what your teen is saying. Active listening also involves not just hearing but understanding what your teen is saying and responding with encouragement, compassion and support.
