What happens to used masks, gowns, and gloves after they’ve done their job? With , they’re becoming something brand new: benches made from recycled PPE! 🪑♻️

Each PPE Bench contains more than 7,000 masks and is built to last 10–20 years. Together, Vitacore and Providence are showing how health care can reduce waste and create something useful, local, and sustainable.

We did it again! For the second time, Vitacore has won the RCBC Environmental Award for Innovation!

Thanks to our incredible Hospital PPE Recycling Program, we’ve kept over 910,000 kg of medical waste out of landfills. And our new AI-powered vision system makes recycling faster, safer, and smarter than ever.

✈️ Big news! Halifax Stanfield International Airport is now the first in North America to launch a PPE recycling program for their team — and we’re proud to be part of it!

Each year, airports send tons of masks, gloves, and PPE to landfills. But now, thanks to our closed-loop recycling system, that waste is being sanitized and turned into reusable materials instead. 🙌♻️

This is a huge step toward greener travel and smarter sustainability in Canada’s airports.
