๐ MEET THE TEAM: We are proud to introduce VP of Operations, Dan McIntyre! Dan brings a wealth of knowledge to his role with Lockstream PPE. Before Dan took on his role at Lockstream, he was the COO of the rapidly growing Cannabis company Nations Wellness. He is a west coast native having grown up on the North Shore of Vancouver and received a BA at the University of Western Ontario. When Dan isn't behind his desk at Lockstream you can find him taking advantage of the west coast, either hiking, boating or playing hockey! Fun fact about Dan is that he lived in Hong Kong for five years.
Thanks Dan for everything you do for the company and keeping our country safe!

Help Slow the Spread of Covid-19

As Canada now enters phase 2 of the Covid-19 pandemic, we look back 100 years to the 1918 pandemic and look to understand the life cycle of past pandemics.
While this pandemic is surely not as fatal as the one our ancestors endured, it is important to understand the behaviours of pandemics in general.
This is not new to us, we have endured harsh pandemics in the past, and we will get through this as well. Click here for a group read to give you some insight from the CDC, and remember wear your mask, be kind, be calm and be safe.
New research is shedding light on how the spread of Coronavirus truly takes place. With more data suggesting spread by air to be a main proponent of transmission, it is revealing that certain safety measures including clear face shields are not adequately protecting you from transmission. Learn more via the video and know that the most guaranteed form of safety for the general public is the 3 - ply civilian grade mask.
Our mandate when we started Lockstream PPE, more than anything else was to protect Canadians with masks made by Canadians.
With all the hard work that has gone into Lockstream PPE we want to highlight all the people at Lockstream PPE that are making it all happen!

"Trash piles up fast, so small steps taken by everyone can truly make a difference in your community. A friendly reminder that if you canโt properly dispose of a mask once you have finished with it, hold onto it until you can."

LockStream PPE Inc. was launched in February of 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our vision was to create a Canadian based workplace solution that could help to prevent illnesses caused from bacteria, viruses and infection. It quickly became evident that one of the most impactful ways LockStream PPE could realize its goals was to produce Canadian manufactured disposable masks.
An executive team was assembled March of 2020 that consisted of funding, warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, importation, process engineering, government procurement and other related disciplines. LockStream PPE Inc. was born. Our dedicated Team is already working hard to expedite the Canadian manufacturing of single use medical and civilian grade disposable masks in our 50,000sq ft facility located in South Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. This advanced facility consists of our head office, administration, warehouse, distribution centre and manufacturing operations.
With the support of Federal, Provincial and Local Governments; our team and our community, we hope to be fully operational with production levels in the millions of masks per month starting in July of 2020. We are 100% Canadian owned and operated. Our raw materials have been sourced worldwide based on availability of high quality, trusted resources.
At LockStream, we recognize the need for Canada to become self-reliant by manufacturing its own supply of quality, Canadian made Personal Protective Equipment; including masks. We are proud to support our great Country with efforts to keep our fellow Canadians, as well as our neighbours around the world, safe and healthy.
