Olena brings warmth, authenticity, and a deep understanding of resilience to her work. Having lived across Ukraine, China, and Canada, she values connection across cultures and believes that healing begins when we feel seen, understood, and safe.

💙 She supports adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, and relational challenges. Her integrative approach is grounded in person centred therapy and EMDR, drawing on CBT and mindfulness based strategies to meet clients where they are.

We’re excited to introduce Wylie, the founder and clinical director of MindFluent Counselling & EMDR.

💚 Wylie brings a grounded, compassionate presence to his work and is dedicated to helping clients process trauma, strengthen self-understanding, and move toward lasting healing. He works primarily with adults, integrating EMDR and other trauma-informed approaches tailored to each person’s needs.

As a trauma-informed therapist and leader, Wylie’s vision for MindFluent is to create a space where people feel safe, seen, and supported in their healing. He is passionate about sharing EMDR therapy, a transformative approach that has been deeply effective for him and many of his clients.

🍃 Outside the office, Wylie loves spending time with his family, noodling on his guitar (sometimes even adequately), exercising, watching sci-fi movies, and contemplating the mysteries of the universe.

We’re excited to introduce Katia as the newest member of our MindFluent Counselling & EMDR team.

Katia is a trauma-focused therapist who offers EMDR and talk therapy for children (10+), teens, and adults. She brings a warm, grounded presence and is deeply committed to supporting People of Colour (POC) and underrepresented communities, including BIPOC clients. Katia creates a safe and inclusive space where clients feel truly seen, supported, and empowered in their healing journey.

She provides in-person sessions in Burnaby as well as online therapy across BC, making it easier for clients to access care that fits their needs.
