❓About Nina:

Nina started her creative journey at a young age in musical theatre. She trained in theatre and stage presence throughout her whole life, but when she moved to Vancouver, she fell in love with the art form of dance.
She has trained in various street dance styles such as dancehall, hip-hop, house, etc. She has also dipped her toes slightly in other forms such as salsa and jazz. However, her true passion lies in the genre of Reggaeton. Being born in Colombia and growing up with the influences of this genre, she saw the evolution of this music style and loves moving to this genre of music the most, which led her to take her passions and teach the feeling behind culture and the style. She sees how reggaeton can change someone’s mood in a matter of seconds and she chooses to bring this mood booster to all her clases 🤩

Yulia brings her extensive dance, capoeira, sports & performance experience mixed with passion to teach & share the joy of Brazilian culture 🇧🇷 After being a gymnast for many years & getting a degree in Business & Finance, Yulia started her dance & fitness coaching career in 2008. She then fell in love with capoeira (Grupo Axé Capoeira) in 2011 & dedicated herself to the art. Later in 2019, Yulia opened Vancouver Samba School to focus on and promote samba dance. In 2024, Yulia is teaching capoeira & samba in Downtown Vancouver 3 times a week 🤩

💃Kylee has been dancing and teaching for as long as she can remember, growing up training in the classical styles of tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, and musical theatre, for which she received many awards and recognition. She later fell in love with Latin dance in 2013 and hasn’t looked back since. She has travelled teaching, performing, and competing throughout Canada, the USA, and Latin America. In 2018 she formed B3M Dance with her husband and dance partner Shaka Dancer and in 2023 they opened up their new studio space in Burnaby Damsha Creative Studios. She is passionate about finding connection to the music, playing with the beats and instruments, and technique training. She can’t wait to share some Bachata footwork musicality on Sunday!🤩

In 2008, her love for Cuban Salsa blossomed, and she honed her skills under the guidance of renowned international Cuban dance artists.
As the proud owner and founder of Timba Cubana Dance School, Angi brings over 15 years of experience as a certified Group Fitness instructor to her teaching practice. While she continues to teach and perform in these various styles, she is mostly known in Vancouver for her brand of Reggaeton classes and choreographies.
