Happy International Women’s Day! 💁🏻‍♀️

Today, I want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible women who make our clinic what it is. For the past 1️⃣3️⃣ years, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented, dedicated, and inspiring women—our staff, our clients, and our amazing team of women entrepreneurs.

This past year has been especially exciting for & I with the addition of our amazing new business partner - ! 💟 Together, we’ve created a dynamic and empowering environment where we all support, learn, and grow together.

To all the women at our clinic—your strength, compassion, intelligence, and dedication don’t go unnoticed. You are the heart and soul of everything we do, and I am so grateful to be on this journey with each of you. 🙏

Here’s to continuing to lift each other up, to growing, and to celebrating the power of women every day! 🙌🏼

Today is 🌍 Spine Day!

This years theme is SUPPORT YOUR SPINE which is a call to action for individuals to prioritize spinal health across all aspects of life. ↔️

Whether at home, in the workplace, schools, or within our communities, fostering healthy habits is essential to support the spine throughout the various stages of life.

It is imperative for people of all backgrounds to recognize the importance of staying mobile, avoiding prolonged periods of physical inactivity and refraining from overloading their spines with excessive weight or strain. Additionally, adopting healthy lifestyle choices such as weight loss and smoking cessation can significantly contribute to spinal well-being.

Should you experience spine pain at any point in your lifetime, seeing a CHIROPRACTOR should always be the first step! ⭐️

Today is 🌍 ARTHRITIS DAY!

DYK that 6 MILLION Canadians live with arthritis - that’s 1/4 women & 1/6 men! 🤯 Fourty percent of these affected admit that their arthritis limits their activities of daily living. But what most people don’t know is that Chiropractic care can be an effective treatment for pain management & improved joint motion.

So what might Chiropractic care for Arthritis look like:
➡️ Manual therapy: Manipulations & mobilizations of the joints and soft tissues can help improve joint function and prevent the progression of arthritis.
➡️ Exercise: Movement can help manage symptoms while increasing your endurance and strengthening the muscles that help support the joints. Good options for activity include walking, biking, swimming & weight training.
➡️ Mobility: Gentle stretching may help improve flexibility and mobility, while decreasing joint stiffness and pain. Exercises like yoga and tai chi can help manage stiffness.
➡️ Hot and Cold Therapy: Applying heat and cold can help relieve pain when a joint is aggravated. Heat can relieve stiffness, while ice may help with pain.
➡️ Weight management: Excess weight can be an important risk factor due to the additional stress put on your weight-bearing joints. Even a small amount of weight-loss can help reduce pain and limit further joint damage.

Don’t let arthritis hold you back. Discover how Chiropractic treatment & other manual therapy options may help you regain control and improve the quality of your life!

A few practice/jane updates:

1. 🗓️ My schedule is now open online for JULY-SEPTEMBER 2024. You will notice a few upcoming gaps in my schedule as I will be away travelling May 30-June 11, July 21-August 5 & September 10-30
2. Waitlist 📝 Good news - I’ve finally caught up to my waitlist for the first time in 2024! This means, if you can’t find an opening soon, please add yourself to the online waitlist - there’s a much higher chance that you’ll be called or emailed for a visit! But in the meantime I would recommend the soonest available just in case.
3. 🚦Text Reminders & Email Marketting - please ensure these are set to “ON” as recent privacy updates have defaulted new jane accounts to “OFF” which means you may miss your reminders & any clinic/schedule updates
4. New Patients - due to a few patients of mine relocating out of the lower mainland this summer, I will be accepting 4-5 new patients. If you have someone you’ve been wanting to get into Chiropractic care with me, please send them my way via email 📧

Thank you for all your continued support! 🥰
