Located in South Burnaby, Royal Treatment Therapeutics is a multi-disciplinary wellness centre passionate about outstanding patient care. We offer a variety of services including massage therapy, physiotherapy, acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and more. We have full-time reception staff for booking, billing and other inquires,and feature patient-friendly online booking and direct billing

through Pacific Blue Cross, Green Shield, Sunlife, Manulife and many other extended health plans. Conveniently located, Royal Treatment Therapeutics is just a short walk from Royal Oak skytrain station. We also provide our patients with free parking.

What is Shiatsu Massage?

Shiatsu is a traditional Japanese therapy that uses gentle finger and palm pressure on specific points of the body. The word “shiatsu” means “finger pressure.”

This technique helps stimulate circulation, release muscle tension, and support the body’s natural healing processes. Shiatsu treatments can also promote relaxation, reduce stress, and improve overall balance in the body.

Unlike many other types of massage, shiatsu is typically performed while the client remains fully clothed and focuses on treating the body as a whole rather than just one area of discomfort.
