We're pleased to announce Isla and Makenna as the recipients of our 2024 Purple Heart Award for exemplary youth in the epilepsy community. These two young ladies were some of our amazing powerhouses during the 2024 Vancouver Sun Run. In addition to taking part in the 2.5 KM Mini Sun Run with their entire family, they also raised an incredible $2,970 for the BC Epilepsy Society through their very own pledge page by calling on their community of family, friends, and loved ones to donate and participate! The icing on the cake was seeing them and their entire family wearing matching purple epilepsy awareness shirts while doing the race. Congratulations Isla and Makenna!
