I used to think Day-drinking was a deranged thing to do. However, I now encourage it after day drinking the black stuff at the Guiness Gravity bar in Dublin. I highly recommend it. 👌😉

In many places, history fades into the background, but not at Trinity College Dublin.

Here, I experienced the beauty of preservation, the strength of structural integrity, and a deep sense of originality, all while witnessing creative revenue generation through the Book of Kells tour.
Truly, the ‘Harvard of Ireland’ and a place to be proud of.

Today was truly inspiring as I spent the day at The Art of Leadership Women, Conference in Vancouver.

While there were many powerful insights shared, one quote from deeply resonated with me:
“Leaders who are authentic and compassionate solve problems faster, build trust, reduce fear, and unlock innovation."

From all the other incredible speakers, a common theme emerged — the importance of leading with humanity and the power of mentorship and relationships that guide you toward your goals.

I'm confident the leadership lessons I’ve learned today will continue to shape my impact, both in my career and beyond.

Last night, I went down to Langely to support Langley Memorial Hospitals, "Whatever it takes" Fundraiser, organized by the Soroptimist International of the Langleys

Every money realized from this fund raiser/auction goes to the hospital to provide practical support to vulnerable patients transitioning from hospital to home. By covering essentials like transport, home service, medications, recovery is easier, and readmission is greatly reduced.

It is amazing how it takes a community that cares to make the community better. And this is what we all should be about. special shout out to my table and reps from . You all bidded hard for the Kate spade purses. ♠️

That being said, if you are feeling very generous, or your organization is looking for a CSR to give back to the communty, or did something you need to atone your conscience for (just kidding)🤣, donating to the Soroptimist will be a great start.

Natasha Akpoti, a federally elected senator representing Kogi Central, recently faced sexual harassment from Senate President Godswill Akpabio—who has previously been accused of similar misconduct and bullying of women.

Rather than receiving support, Sen. Akpoti was met with backlash. Men accused her of “dressing provocatively” or “doing too much,” while a protest—allegedly funded by the Senate President’s wife—saw women demanding that she apologize to her harasser and “respect” him simply because he is a man.

With only 4 women among 109 senators in Nigeria’s 10th National Assembly, this is yet another glaring example of systemic gender injustice. What’s even more alarming? Sen. Akpabio presided over his own harassment case and handed down a six-month suspension without salary for Sen. Akpoti, and extended this punishment to her entire staff.

An injustice to one is an injustice to all. This is just one of the many challenges women still face in 2025—blatant, heart-wrenching, and unacceptable.

To Sen. Natasha Akpoti, I commend your courage and resilience. Your voice will not be silenced, and this injustice can not stand.
