You’ve probably seen headlines about lead in protein powders.
But those results came mainly from plant-based supplements sold in the U.S. where testing is voluntary and oversight is minimal.

In Canada, it’s a different story.
Every food and ingredient must meet Health Canada and CFIA safety limits—including lead, cadmium, arsenic, and mercury.

At Gnubees, we went a step further.
Our whey protein isolate was independently tested by Eurofins, and the results came back 10× lower than Health Canada’s strict standard.
