🔅Stretch, Strength, and Resilience

This class is designed to build muscle endurance and stability through low-impact training. By combining resistance band work with isometric bodyweight holds, we focus on strengthening the deep core and stabilizing the body.

The Practice:

⭕️Strength: Targeted muscle engagement to build a solid foundation.

⭕️Stretch: Gentle movements to soothe the nervous system and increase mobility.

⭕️Resilience: A balanced flow to foster mental focus and inner peace.

My Monday crew asked for an extra class that’s more dynamic and powerful and this is it. Above all,it’ll be fun ! We guarantee a supportive environment to help you grow in strength.

這是一堂強化肌耐力與韌性;搭配彈力帶增加阻力,以訓練肌肉穩定度的一堂課。當然會有溫柔伸展交互呼應,安定神經系統,最後進入大休息的療癒時光。這堂課剛柔並濟,揮汗之餘,亦能享受內在平靜。

現代醫學告訴我們增肌很重要,但是增肌有很多方法,瑜伽「低衝擊式」增肌主要是透過:

1. 自體重量的「等長收縮」 (Isometric Contraction)

不同於槓鈴或啞鈴,瑜伽是利用自身體重作為阻力。當你維持在「平板式」或「勇士式」不動時,肌肉會為了抗衡地心引力而持續發力。這種「維持靜止」的過程,能深度刺激肌肉纖維,鍛鍊出緊實且有耐力的線條。

2. 招式間的「動態流動」 (Dynamic Flow)

在流動瑜伽(Vinyasa)中,身體在不同體式間轉換。這種過程會用到離心收縮(例如從站姿緩慢降到地面的控制力),這對肌肉纖維的微小破壞與修復非常有幫助,正是增肌的關鍵。

3. 深層核心與「穩定肌群」的喚醒

平常如果你的重訓針對大肌肉(如胸大肌、股四頭肌),而瑜伽則會幫助你同時使用深層的小肌群來維持平衡。這就像是在幫身體紮地基,地基穩了,更不輕易受傷。

4. 柔軟度與柔韌度的「神助攻」

當你的肌肉不再緊繃、筋膜放鬆後,血液循環會變好,營養能更快送達肌肉細胞。更重要的是,關節活動度變大後,你在做其他運動時的動作行程會變長,增肌的效果更好。

PS: 身體跟大腦喜歡我們適度地做各種活動,我們一直鼓勵學生繼續去做他們喜歡的活動,網球、重訓、皮拉提斯、跑步等,把瑜珈納入訓練的一環,不只是帶來身體上的Benefits,在心智上可以鍛鍊專注力,與面對生命起伏的勇氣,幫助我們切入精神層面,了解短暫的快樂跟長期的安定與滿足之間的不同,去深入內在,探索真正的自己。

另外,多年以來,我都堅持提供友善的練習氛圍,讓大家是互相支持而不是較勁,站上墊子上,每個人都是被完全接納的。歡迎大家。

The moment I stepped onto this land, my heart immediately recognized home. The salty sea air feels fresher here, and the towering mountains—along with the gorge carved by water—are a powerful reminder of just how strong and alive water can be.

I am deeply grateful to be able to share yoga at Silks Place Taroko was truly touched by everyone who came to the classes. I know how busy your schedules are, yet you still chose to show up for yoga. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My sincere thanks also go to the amazing Silks Place Taroko team. Every single staff member is so warm and welcoming. This course would not have been possible without agoy Taiwan who generously sponsored all the yoga props,allowing us to practice with the best quality equipment. It truly takes a whole team to make this happen, and I can’t thank you enough.

I walked along the trails, simply wanting to see the mountains again and again. Childhood memories kept surfacing, and I realized how lucky I am to have grown up so close to nature.
