Our licensed preschool program is accepting registrations for the new year!

Kensington Montessori has been part of the community since 2003, and we’re so excited to be reopening in our fresh new space!

We offer a small group setting with a warm, home-like environment and affordable rates where children can explore, play, and grow with confidence.

✅ We proudly participate in the Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI) and accept the Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB), making quality care more accessible for families.

🎉 Special Offer: We can’t wait to welcome new families! The first 4 families to enroll will receive $100 off their first month’s tuition! The registration fee is also waived for the first year of registration!

Hi everyone, I’m Marisa — the face behind Kensington Montessori and the one nurturing your children’s growth and love of learning!👩🏻‍🏫

Teaching has been my dream since I was a little girl, inspired by my mom, Athina Dritsas, who founded Kensington Montessori. After her passing, I made it my mission to carry her legacy forward.

With a BGS and BEd from SFU, along with AMI Montessori training, I’ve reimagined Kensington Montessori into a warm, modern space where children can grow, explore, and fall in love with learning📖

Every day, I’m proud to honor my mom’s vision while doing what I love most — supporting children’s curiosity and joy🤍

The powerhouse behind it all 🕊️ Athina Dritsas.

My mother founded Kensington Montessori in 2003. Her passion for early learning, her dedication to children, and her belief in the Montessori philosophy created something truly special.

What began in our family home has grown into a space that continues to nurture little minds every day. Her warmth and commitment touched so many families, earning her countless awards and lifelong gratitude from the community she built.

She is my muse, my inspiration, and my driving force. Though she is deeply missed, her spirit continues to guide my work and Kensington Montessori as a whole🦋

Today, I’m honoured to carry her vision forward — continuing the legacy she began with love, care, and purpose. Always for her ♥️
