The Work Wellness Institute was founded in 1985 as a Canadian research center dedicated to conducting and supporting applied research on chronic disease and the treatment of pain.
We are committed to our core vision of conducting and supporting global research and mobilizing knowledge that positively impacts workplace health practices. Entering the new decade, we have tripled our staff and continue to grow.
We expand our public education and training programs and influence policy development.
We strive to lead science-based change through our continued commitment to work closely with our partners across academia, industry, government and community.
In 2017, as a response to industry and community needs, we transformed our organization to focus on workplace health and the transfer of research into practice. Now known as the Work Wellness Institute, we are committed to our core vision of conducting and supporting global research and mobilizing knowledge that positively impacts workplace health practices.
