Dr. Benaroch has dedicated over 27 years to pediatric orthopaedic care at Shriners Canada and Montreal Children’s Hospital, leading the Division of Pediatric Orthopaedics at McGill since 2021. He specializes in developmental dysplasia of the hip, clubfoot, cerebral palsy, and pediatric foot deformities.
A respected educator and leader, Dr. Benaroch served as McGill’s Orthopaedic Residency Program Director (2013-2021), earning accolades such as the inaugural Program Director Leadership Award in 2017. He is also a longtime Associate Professor of Surgery at McGill.
Behind the scenes, he’s an avid cyclist, logging about 20,000 km annually, and brings that same energy and positivity to his clinical and teaching environments.

Dr. Reggie Hamdy is an internationally recognized expert in pediatric orthopedic surgery, currently serving as Associate-Chair of the Department of Pediatric Surgery for Continuous Professional Development at McGill University.
He specializes in complex conditions such as limb deformities, skeletal dysplasias, osteogenesis imperfecta, and neuromuscular disorders. With decades of experience, Dr. Hamdy is also a leader in regenerative medicine and surgical innovation, and has authored over 160 peer-reviewed publications. Most importantly, he is passionate about helping children regain their normal life and daily activities.
