Dr. Sarah Campillo is a Pediatric Rheumatologist and assistant professor at the Montreal Children’s Hospital (McGill University Health Centre) since 2005. She has been the director of the pediatric rheumatology residency program at McGill University since 2018. She is the founder of the Arthritis Society’s Camp ArticulAction (a specialized summer camp for children with rheumatic diseases).

Dr. Piya Lahiry, MD, PhD, FRCPC, is a Pediatric Rheumatologist with over five years of clinical experience. She completed her medical degree at Western University in 2013, followed by a residency in General Pediatrics and a fellowship in Pediatric Rheumatology at The Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto. Since July 2023, Dr. Lahiry has been part of the Montreal Children’s Hospital, where she provides specialized, compassionate care for children with rheumatologic conditions.

Dr. John‑Paul Capolicchio is a highly respected pediatric urologist with over two decades of experience caring for children with complex urologic needs.

His clinical expertise spans a wide range of conditions, including antenatal urologic concerns, minimally invasive surgery and urologic care for transplant patients. Dr. Capolicchio is also known for his leadership in national pediatric urology guidelines and his dedication to advancing surgical techniques in children.

Recognized for his excellence in teaching and mentorship, he has earned multiple awards for his contributions to medical education. He has a particular research interest in congenital hydronephrosis.

Dr. Capolicchio is excited to be part of the team and vision of the STEP clinic. We are proud to offer his specialized care as part of our clinic’s growing pediatric team.
