Today marks the Shaheedi Dihara of Shaheed Bhai Jugraj Singh Ji “Toofan.” It is said that over 100,000 Sikh Sangata gathered for Bhai Sahib’s Antim Sanskar, where the Sangat presented 10 large bags of money to Bapu Mohinder Singh Ji for the family, but when Bapu Ji refused to accept it, he said, “My son simply did his Seva for the Panth, there is no greater honour for me than being a father of a Shaheed”. Bapu Ji asked that the entire amount be given to Baba Thakur Singh Ji to support other Shaheed Parivars in need of financial support
