Posture claims you need to unlearn. ✨

We’ve all heard them. Sit up straight. Don’t slouch. Fix your posture or you’ll “ruin” your back. But posture is more flexible than that.

Here are a few myths worth rethinking:
• “You should sit perfectly straight all day.”
Holding any position too long can feel stiff. Movement variety matters more than rigid posture.

• “Forward head posture means your neck is ruined.”
Posture doesn’t equal damage. Your neck is adaptable and responds well to gradual strength and mobility work.

• “Fix your posture and your pain will disappear.”
Posture can help, but strength, load management, stress, sleep, and daily habits matter too.

It’s not about perfect posture. It’s about building a body that’s strong, adaptable, and resilient. 🙌

If you don’t have enough mobility but you start running anyway?

Here’s what can happen.

When your hips or ankles don’t move well, other areas start to compensate. Your knees or lower back may take on extra load, even though they weren’t the original issue.

Limited range can also change your stride mechanics. Steps may feel shorter, heavier, and less efficient which means you fatigue faster.

Over time, small mobility restrictions can create repetitive stress in certain tissues. What starts as “tightness” can gradually turn into discomfort if it’s not addressed.

Mobility supports cleaner mechanics, better load distribution, and more efficient runs.

Better mobility = better miles. 🏃‍♂️

Quick stretches and small posture resets can help:
• reduce muscle tension
• improve circulation
• prevent stiffness from turning into pain
• keep you feeling better by the end of the day
