After bilateral knee replacement, I convalesced at Staywell Manor Village for a couple of weeks. The care I received at Staywell was excellent. I appreciated it when I was staying at Staywell, and I was even more thankful for it when I went home. The suite was roomy and very comfortable, the food was incredible, and when I needed help, it appeared with the push of a button. When I reacted to my medication, I got advice from an RN (Joseph) and an LPN (Sanu) right away, and I was able to see your in-house doc (Dr. Arcega) the next day. Amazing!

How do we thank you enough, and all the staff here at the Manor, for the wonderful 'welcome' you have extended to us at this very difficult time in our lives.
Everything went smoothly, and beyond all our expectations. Management and all service departments, dining room, and maintenance were obligingly at our
service at every turn. And secondly, but not least!! Carmela, getting our TV and computer going for us was "the icing on the cake".

Thank you for the wonderful "Welcome Gift" . We will be enjoying it for days to come.

We thoroughly enjoyed the bus trip to Okotoks yesterday. We commend all the organizers and servers. The food was excellent and very graciously served.
It was a great day for us.

A huge shout out & appreciative thanks to Tanya & Beth who have been with mom from Day 1 of her arrival at the Manor. Both have gone above & beyond to make sure mom is comfortable & well-taken care of. Outstanding dedication, especially during trying times of COVID outbreaks & other challenging circumstances, Tanya & Beth always have smiling faces & put mom's needs first.

Our new interactive amenities are designed to entertain, socialize and create activities for those seniors who are less mobile and have varying interests, recognizing their restricted abilities.

So what is "Seeing Is Believing"?

⭐New interactive Activity Centre that utilizes a touch screen. This enables seniors and their families to challenge themselves to Brain Games such as identifying and remembering a full calendar of FUN, singing, dancing, painting, exploring and stimulating!

⭐SING-a-LONG exercise activity. We sing the words to the music as we sit and exercise various parts of our body.

⭐WORK-OF-ART: run your brush along silhouettes of your favourite memories and persons, creating objects and faces that can be printed for your family — enhancing memories.

⭐A series of GAMES for the visiting grandchildren challenging Grandpa or Grandma with Tic-Tac-Toe and various other games enjoyed by the kids.

Our residents from The Manor Village Signature Park enjoyed a wonderful day out at Barrier Lake, soaking in the stunning scenery and the great outdoors. From serene walks along the shoreline to shared laughter and stories, it was a day filled with joy and connection.

My Mother moved into the Manor last October. She loves the food and usually asks to go back to "My Hotel" for dinner. She never gets tired of seeing the mountains as she works out on the treadmill. Loves the Variety of Fitness Classes. The staff are excellent, loving, and eagerly answer my questions and give me updates when they see me in the hallways.

At The Manor Village Varsity, our residents are treated to a special touch at the end of each day. Our dedicated staff leaves pillow messages in their suites, creating a warm and comforting way to say goodnight.

It's the little things that make a big difference in making our residents feel truly cared for.

The transition from her home of 50 years to The Manor was a huge lifestyle change for Mom. It wasn't easy but the staff and residents are so welcoming, accommodating and inclusive, it wasn't long before Mom had a very active social circle. The Chef and dining staff ensure that Mom has the proper nutrition (no more peanut butter and jelly for dinner). Housekeeping does all the difficult tasks (ie. Vacuum and bed making).

The entertainment and activities are non stop. Mom says she doesn't have time to do all the events and outings. Mom start out extremely pessimistic about the move but The Manor has gone above and beyond to ensure that she is healthy, happy and safe. All of this within 8 months is miraculous. What an amazing place to spend those "golden" years. I would highly recommend The Manor Village (I want to live there too).

Today at The Manor Village Varsity, we're getting creative! 🌷

Thanks to the talented volunteers from Creative Aging Calgary Society, our memory care residents had a delightful painting class. Together, we brought a spring blooming tree to life on canvas, each stroke infused with memories and joy. It wasn't just about the art; it was about the shared moments, laughter, and expression of individual talents.

My Dad lived at Signature Park Manor for 8 years. He enjoyed all aspects of his life there. The medical staff and the staff running all areas of the community are caring, patient and efficient.
I never had to worry when I went on a vacation. I knew the many friends he had made and all the staff would take good care of him.
