Pain on the outside of your knee? 🦵

You may be dealing with iliotibial (IT) band syndrome. This issue causes sharp or achy pain on the outer aspect of the knee, particularly in runners and other active individuals.

The good news is that it’s very treatable. Most runners return to training quickly with a combination of myofascial release and hip-strengthening exercises to help the leg better handle load. 🙌

Don’t let knee pain slow your momentum. Visit our clinic and let us help you get back on track. Your IT band may be irritated, but your goals don’t have to be. 💪

Did you know jaw issues and ringing in the ear (tinnitus) often go hand-in-hand? 😣👂

A new review found that more than half of people with jaw pain also experienced tinnitus, and nearly everyone with tinnitus showed signs of jaw pain. The connection is stronger than most people realize.

If you’ve been dealing with ear ringing or jaw discomfort, they may be related. Getting both checked can help you find the right treatment path.

Schedule an appointment and let us help you sort out what’s going on. Relief is possible. 💙

Sciatica describes pain that comes from irritation of the sciatic nerve and is usually felt in the glute, thigh, or down the leg.
That does not mean all leg pain is sciatica, and it does not mean the nerve itself is always damaged.

What matters most is why the nerve is irritated.

Common causes include:

• Disc herniation or disc bulge
A disc can place pressure on a nerve root, creating leg pain even when low back pain is minimal.

• Muscle compression
Tight or overactive muscles, especially deep hip and glute muscles, can compress the nerve and mimic disc related symptoms.

• Nerve inflammation
The nerve can become irritated without major compression, often from repetitive strain, prolonged sitting, or poor movement patterns.

• Degenerative changes
Joint stiffness, disc wear, or arthritic changes can reduce space around the nerve and increase sensitivity.

Because sciatica has multiple possible causes, treatment should never be one size fits all.

Treatment goals usually include:

In clinic:
• Releasing tight or overactive muscles
• Improving faulty movement patterns
• Restoring strength and control through the hips and core

At home:
• Gentle stretching, not aggressive pulling
• Staying active without pushing through sharp pain
• Changing habits that continue to irritate the nerve

The goal is not just to calm symptoms, but to address what is stressing the nerve in the first place.

If leg or glute pain has been lingering, worsening, or coming back again and again, it is worth having it properly assessed.

Did you know that your lower back could be the cause of your knee pain? 🦵

Recent research suggests that adjusting the lower back can enhance quadriceps strength in individuals with “patellofemoral” pain, a common knee condition characterized by pain located at the front of the knee. Stronger quads mean more support and happier knees! 🙌

The body is more connected than it seems. If your knee has been bothering you, we can help with personalized care, targeted exercises, and gentle adjustments to get you moving comfortably again. 💪✨

Your hips don’t suck.
They’ve just been neglected.
1. They’re locked solid, so movement gets stolen from somewhere else
2. They’re weak, so they can’t control load
3. Your low back takes over and sends pain down as a warning

Pain isn’t random.
It’s feedback.

If your hips can’t move and can’t produce strength, your spine will always pay for it.

Fix the hips.
Calm the back.

Do you struggle with vertigo or dizziness? 😵‍💫

A new study found that testing for BPPV, the most common cause of positional vertigo, is more likely to be positive in the morning than later in the day.

It explains why symptoms sometimes disappear just as you arrive at your appointment.

For the most accurate “dizziness diagnosis”, a morning visit may provide the best opportunity to pinpoint the cause. And if you’ve been feeling off-balance, we’re here to help you get steady again.

It’s not the pain that brings people in.

It’s what the pain slowly takes away.

Workouts you stop doing.
Walks you shorten.
Hobbies you avoid.
Time with your kids that feels harder than it should.

When pain starts changing how you live, it’s usually a sign the issue isn’t resolving on its own.

That’s when an assessment actually matters.

Staying steady on your feet matters especially as we age! 👣🧓

Balance, confidence, and strength naturally change over time, and those shifts can increase the risk of future falls. Research shows that adults dealing with ongoing pain or stiffness are more likely to experience balance issues and feel limited in daily activities.

The good news? Small, consistent habits can make a big difference. 💪✨

2025 was full of reasons not to start.

Too busy.
Too tired.
I’ll deal with it later.

“later” turned into months…

2026 doesn’t need excuses.
It needs ex*****on.

Feeling better starts with prioritizing yourself.
Not chasing symptoms.
Not waiting until it gets worse.
Not hoping it gets better.

New year.
New era for your health.
