Calgary Quest Children's Society has been selected for the voting phase of the Field Law Community Fund Grant! This grant supports projects that make a meaningful impact in their communities, and we are thrilled to be in the running.

If we are chosen, the grant will fund the completion of our Life Skills Lab at our Sunalta Campus for teens and young adults with developmental disabilities. The Lab offers practical training in areas like cooking, budgeting, job-readiness, and effective communication. It’s designed to equip participants with the skills they need to navigate daily life with confidence and self-reliance, helping them transition smoothly into adulthood.

Every vote demonstrates that our community believes in the Life Skills Lab and the positive impact it will have on the lives of our students. Your vote could make all the difference!

Today was an exciting day for our Maple Room adventurers at Devonian Gardens!

Our participants embarked on a wonderful scavenger hunt, exploring the beauty of nature and art throughout the garden. It was amazing to see everyone learning about plants and discovering hidden treasures along the way!

Our Story

The focus of the transition program is to re-imagine the post-secondary experience for young adults with moderate to severe developmental disabilities. Through a hands-on, skills-based curriculum, with personal life coaching, supported placements, and community participation, the transition program will prepare young adults to move more successfully into adulthood.

Our Vision

To provide a unique and holistic approach to transition from high school to adulthood for young adults with developmental disabilities.

Our Mission

To offer a structured, meaningful, inclusive, and community-based environment where young adults with developmental disabilities can continue to thrive and grow socially, physically, emotionally, and intellectually while focusing on the next steps- employment, volunteerism, and/or community integration.
