💚 World Mental Health Day 💚
Today, October 10, we’re reminded that grief isn’t just an emotional experience. It deeply affects our mental health, too. When someone we love dies, feelings like sadness, fatigue, or even anxiety are normal. What’s not normal is feeling like you have to carry that weight alone.
👉 Here are three gentle reminders for anyone grieving:
1. Your grief is valid. There’s no timeline or “right way.”
2. Connection matters. Talking with a friend, support group, or counselor can lighten the load.
3. Small steps count. Rest, eat, walk, breathe — simple routines help calm your mind.
At McInnis & Holloway Funeral Homes, our care doesn’t end with the service. We’re here for you as you navigate the days and weeks that follow. If you or someone you love is struggling, support is available.
