Our Approach

As adult children of aging parents, we know first hand how challenging the topic of home care can be. It can be a complicated process and a big decision. Albert enjoyed going on 7 cruises during his life and said he gained 14 lbs from all the good food! We're sure glad he and his caregiver, Reiselle, had a great day reminiscing and dressing up! Happy Halloween everyone!

We're excited to be at the Alberta Association of Optometrists Conference!

Just Like Family Home Care has a national, exclusive partnership with Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada. This partnership ensures our Care Providers receive specialized training to support individuals with vision loss in their homes. Our services include assistance with cleaning, meal preparation, grocery shopping, laundry, and even accompanying clients on walks or other outings. We are proud to be the only home care company offering this specialized training and support, which provides life-changing assistance to our clients.

We are here to educate optometrists across Alberta about how we can help your patients, including driving them to eye appointments and ensuring they return home safely, and helping to improve their quality of life. We have five offices located across Alberta and are approved home care providers for the Client Directed Home Care Invoicing program, which subsidizes the cost of home care.
