Signs of inadequate eye movement control include:
•using the finger to help the eyes maintain fixation during reading
•loss of place when reading or copying from the chalkboard
•skipping words or re-reading
•repeatedly omitting small words
• words reversals such as “on” / “no”, also “was” / “saw”.
