Did you know an epidural is considered a scar when it comes to fascia?
Did you also know that that epidural could be the cause of your back pain?!
I had a client today that came to me for some LDT because she had lower back pain and facial restrictions. I decided to quickly test her core (TVA) and it was of due to some diaphragm dysfunction. Diaphragm needs thoraciclumbar fascia to be hydrated and healthy and hers was not that. I was locked down and stuck.
At the beginning of her appointment I also asked if she had any scars and she said no, but when I started to work on her back I noticed a scar from a mole removal. So many clients discount scars like this, but I'm here to let you know ALL scars matter. She then remembered she had an epidural also. I took about 10 minutes max and worked on the 2 scars with Gentle Scar Therapy and her entire lower back released. Gentle Scar Therapy is another soft touch technique that provides BIG results and I love that I have this skill to help my clients.
