Massage and manual osteopathy both feel amazing—but they’re not the same.

💆‍♀️ Massage Therapy targets the muscles and soft tissue. It’s great for relaxation, circulation, and easing muscle tension.

🌀 Manual Osteopathy takes a more structural, full-body approach. We assess how bones, fascia, joints, and organs are aligned and working together. It’s incredibly gentle—and especially helpful in pregnancy and postpartum when your body is shifting and healing.

Feeding, rocking, holding… the love is endless, and so is the shoulder tension.

Postpartum often shifts discomfort upward—into the neck, shoulders, and upper back.

At BUMP, we use a combination of manual osteopathy and massage to relieve muscle strain and bring circulation back to areas holding stress.

💆‍♀️ Pro tip: You don’t have to be in pain to book. Preventative care can help you stay ahead of chronic tension and burnout.

Let’s support your recovery—because when you feel better, everything feels more manageable.

Pelvic pain during pregnancy is common—but that doesn’t mean you should just live with it.

As your body adapts to a growing baby, ligaments loosen, your center of gravity shifts, and pressure on your pelvis increases. This can cause pain in the hips, p***c bone, or tailbone.

✨ How manual osteopathy can help:
✔️ Gently releases tension in the pelvic floor and low back
✔️ Improves alignment and fluid movement
✔️ Encourages more comfortable mobility (especially in later trimesters)

Don’t wait until the discomfort gets worse—our sessions are safe, supportive, and tailored to your stage of pregnancy.

They’re not a distraction.
They’re not the reason I’m “behind” on my to-do list.
They’re not the interruption to my goals,
They are the goal.

Sometimes I catch myself feeling guilty for not “getting more done.”
The dishes are piling up, the emails are unread, the plans are pushed back again…
But then I look at the little faces in front of me,
the ones calling my name a hundred times a day,
needing hugs, snacks, cuddles, and a whole lot of patience.

And I remind myself:
This is the work.
Loving them.
Raising them.
Being present, even when it’s hard.
Especially when it’s hard.

So no—I’m not falling behind.
I’m exactly where I need to be.
Because children aren’t a distraction from more important work.
They are the most important work. 💚🌿

TREND ALERT ⚠️⚠️
Think osteopathy is just trendy?
Think again—it’s trending because it WORKS.

It’s not invasive, it’s not aggressive, and it’s backed by real results.

Come see what the hype is about—your nervous system (and your low back) will thank you.

Here’s the secret: your body wants to heal—it just needs the right conditions. 🪄✨

Osteopathy works with your body’s natural self-healing mechanisms. We help stimulate your ability to self-regulate and heal from the inside out (no potions required).

Perfect for postpartum recovery, prenatal tension, or just general "my body feels off" vibes.

Would you live in a house with a crooked foundation?
Your body feels the same way. 🏚️➡️🏡

In osteopathy, we understand that structure impacts function. A pelvis out of alignment during pregnancy? That can mean back pain, tight hips, or even digestion issues.

We help realign what’s off so everything can function the way it should—whether you’re growing a baby or chasing one around.

One of the most important (and most overlooked) principles in manual osteopathy is this:

🧠 Your body works as a whole.

That achy low back? It might not just be your back.
That tightness in your hips? It could be related to your posture, your breath, or even how your feet move when you walk.

This is what we mean by "The Unity of the Body."
When you're pregnant or postpartum, your body is in a constant state of adaptation—your center of gravity shifts, ligaments loosen, your breathing changes, your sleep is different, your pelvic floor takes on new roles... and it’s all connected.

💡 Here’s what we look at during treatment:
✔️ How your pelvis and spine are aligned
✔️ How your diaphragm is moving (yes, your breath affects everything!)
✔️ How tension patterns in one area may be causing discomfort in another
✔️ How your nervous system is responding to physical and emotional load

✨ Simple Tips You Can Try at Home

Check your breath – Are you breathing shallow or into your belly? Deep diaphragmatic breathing improves circulation and calms the nervous system.

Balance your load – Diaper bags, car seats, groceries… try switching sides regularly so you’re not always overloading one shoulder or hip.

Gentle movement daily – Even 5 minutes of stretching, cat-cow, or supported squats can help keep things mobile and balanced.

Hydrate & rest – Your connective tissues need hydration, and your nervous system needs downtime to process and regulate.
