Meet Max! Our newest member of the collective ✨. Max is a kind, curious soul, with a crazy knack for all things body related. He enjoys diving deep into the “why’s” behind pain and mobility challenges - helping you heal and recover. If you are more interested in a relaxation massage, he’s got the playlist soft vibes you need.

Outside his time as a massage therapist, Max enjoys being in the mountains running, climbing and exploring. He uses his mechanical aptitude and creativity to create functional retro bicycles for his adventures with friends and family.

Long weekend means it’s time for a NERVOUS SYSTEM RESET! Pick one thing from this list to commit to during your time off. Why these 10 things? Because they are the top actions that can support calming out often overloaded nervous systems.

Here are ten things that can help soothe the nervous system:

1. 🫁Deep Breathing Exercises- Practicing deep, slow breaths can activate the body’s relaxation response.

2. 🧘‍♀️Meditation and Mindfulness- These practices help center the mind, reduce anxiety, and promote a sense of calm.

3. 🤸Yoga- Combining physical movement with breath control and meditation, yoga can significantly reduce stress and tension.

4. 🌿Nature Walks- Spending time in nature can lower cortisol levels and enhance feelings of well-being.

It’s true, you don’t need to wait for a “New Year New You” moment to reassess what’s important to you. With benefit expiration just around the corner, and schedules for our therapist filling up, now is a great time to get into, or ramp up therapy.

This isn’t about becoming a new version of yourself. It’s about rediscovering who you are, taking care of your mind and emotions, and starting the year with a fresh outlook.

Let’s be clear 🔮. Healing isn’t something that is done to you, or for you. It’s a non-linear process of reflection, curiosity, and action that moves in and out of different experiences and emotions. Its a process and a way of being.

🌷 With a specialization in Adult Mental Health and addictions, Liz is your go-to when it comes to dealing with mood or thought disorders.
