✨👠 Fashion Week has nothing on us! 💃🕺

We just wrapped up an unforgettable Vintage Fashion Show, and WOW — what a day! A huge thank-you to Memory Lane Fashion for putting on a spectacular showcase of style through the decades, from the roaring 1920s to the bold 1980s. 🎩👗

Flapper fringe, swing skirts, go-go boots, and shoulder pads — every era came to life on our runway, and our models absolutely owned it. The energy, the fashion, the nostalgia... it was truly something special.

To everyone who joined us — thank you for making it such a memorable event. Fashion Week’s got nothing on us! 😉

What an unforgettable day at Sharon Corners Retirement Residence!

They were thrilled to welcome East Gwillimbury hometown hero, Sam Bennett of the Florida Panthers, fresh off his Stanley Cup victory. Residents and team members alike were overjoyed to meet Sam, celebrate his incredible achievement, and even get up close with hockey’s most coveted prize.

From sharing behind-the-scenes championship stories to taking photos (and even touching the Cup!), the visit was filled with pride, nostalgia, and pure joy. For many lifelong hockey fans, it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

A huge thank you to Sam for bringing not just the Cup, but also his warmth, generosity and community spirit to our home. These memories will be treasured forever.

🌾🎉 What a fantastic day at Pioneer Acres! We had such a great time immersing ourselves in the rich history of rural life. The old-time buildings and restored homes made you feel like you were stepping straight into the past. 🏡✨
From exploring the charming little general store to wandering through the cozy homesteads, there was so much to see and learn. We even got to visit the blacksmith shop, where they showed us some cool old-school techniques! 🔨
The peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by nature, was the perfect way to relax and enjoy a fun, educational day out. The highlight was definitely the local stories shared by the guides—it was like walking through history with a personal tour!
If you’re looking for a little adventure and a chance to appreciate the simpler times, Pioneer Acres is a must-visit. 🌿

The lounge was transformed into a cozy summer retreat, complete with chilled cocktails, sweet treats, and the smooth sounds of live music.

Residents at Venvi Churchill Place were treated to a tasty presentation from a local student entrepreneur. Charlotte, a 15-year-old with a passion for baking, started her business, Grain & Loaf Co, to showcase that healthy can also mean delicious. Specializing in whole grain, good for you baked items, Charlotte is dedicated to bringing fresh, locally sourced, and handcrafted goods to customers.

Joined by her mother and grandmother, Charlotte brought her baked scones, muffins, and challah bread to share with residents, who were inspired by her energy and passion. She shared her story, recounting how she had taught herself to bake through trial and error, experimenting with healthier ingredients to make her treats more nutritious without sacrificing taste.

By the end of the presentation, Charlotte not only shared her delicious baked goods but also forged connections bridging generations through the joy of baking.

The Bentley Regina recently celebrated their grand re-opening after months of renovations. Residents were joined by Regina’s Mayor, Chad Bachynski, and other members of the community who were able to enjoy the inviting new spaces. The residence features an ode to The Capitol Theatre and an all-new pub called The Honking Goose Tavern. Guests had the opportunity to sample the Pension Plan Pilsner, a collaboration with The Bentley Regina and Pile O Bones Brewery located in Regina - a true Saskatchewan beer.
