🌾🎉 What a fantastic day at Pioneer Acres! We had such a great time immersing ourselves in the rich history of rural life. The old-time buildings and restored homes made you feel like you were stepping straight into the past. 🏡✨
From exploring the charming little general store to wandering through the cozy homesteads, there was so much to see and learn. We even got to visit the blacksmith shop, where they showed us some cool old-school techniques! 🔨
The peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by nature, was the perfect way to relax and enjoy a fun, educational day out. The highlight was definitely the local stories shared by the guides—it was like walking through history with a personal tour!
If you’re looking for a little adventure and a chance to appreciate the simpler times, Pioneer Acres is a must-visit. 🌿

🎂 Birthday Celebrations – We gathered to honor our amazing residents with cake, laughter, and special moments shared among friends. Every birthday is a reminder of a life well-lived and cherished!

🏖️ Sand Art Fun – Creativity was flowing as residents got hands-on with colorful sand art. It was a relaxing and joyful way to express ourselves and bring some vibrant art to life!

💪 Fitness Classes – Staying active is key to healthy aging, and our fitness sessions were full of energy and encouragement. From gentle stretches to upbeat movement, everyone gave it their best!

Residents at Venvi Churchill Place were treated to a tasty presentation from a local student entrepreneur. Charlotte, a 15-year-old with a passion for baking, started her business, Grain & Loaf Co, to showcase that healthy can also mean delicious. Specializing in whole grain, good for you baked items, Charlotte is dedicated to bringing fresh, locally sourced, and handcrafted goods to customers.

Joined by her mother and grandmother, Charlotte brought her baked scones, muffins, and challah bread to share with residents, who were inspired by her energy and passion. She shared her story, recounting how she had taught herself to bake through trial and error, experimenting with healthier ingredients to make her treats more nutritious without sacrificing taste.

By the end of the presentation, Charlotte not only shared her delicious baked goods but also forged connections bridging generations through the joy of baking.

🌟 What a Stampede Breakfast! 🌟

We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Scenic Grande Retirement Living's Stampede Breakfast! 🎉 The day was filled with fun, laughter, and amazing entertainment for everyone.

🐐🐇 Petting Zoo Fun! - Our residents and guests had the best time meeting some adorable animals! From a playful pig to sweet goats and cuddly bunnies, it was a hit with all ages.

💃🕺 Line Dancing & Trick Dog Show! - Our feet were tapping and spirits were soaring with some amazing line dancing moves. The trick dog show had everyone in awe — those pups were full of surprises! 🐾

🎤🎶 Singers and Entertainment! - The talented singers serenaded us with some feel-good tunes that had everyone singing along and reminiscing about good times. 🎵

A huge thank you to our wonderful residents, community members, and the amazing staff who made this event a roaring success. Your smiles and energy made this Stampede Breakfast unforgettable! 🙌

The Bentley Regina recently celebrated their grand re-opening after months of renovations. Residents were joined by Regina’s Mayor, Chad Bachynski, and other members of the community who were able to enjoy the inviting new spaces. The residence features an ode to The Capitol Theatre and an all-new pub called The Honking Goose Tavern. Guests had the opportunity to sample the Pension Plan Pilsner, a collaboration with The Bentley Regina and Pile O Bones Brewery located in Regina - a true Saskatchewan beer. Residents at Portsmouth retirement residence demonstrated exceptional generosity and community spirit by swiftly raising $700 to aid fire evacuees in Manitoba during a critical state of emergency. Armed with these funds, the Active Living Manager and three of Portsmouth's most enthusiastic shoppers embarked on a mission to Dollarama and Walmart. There, they purchased essential supplies ranging from hygiene products, diapers, and wipes to toiletries, small toys, craft supplies, and individually packaged snacks. Way to go, Portsmouth!
