He specializes in therapeutic massage with the intention of nurturing his clients needs, as well as educating his clients to provide self care to progressively reach a point of having a greater (pain free) quality of living.
This can be accomplished through a strong intuition and techniques such as RAPID NFR SPECIALIST, deep tissue massage, trigger point work, sports massage, pre/post-natal, LDT 1 (Lymphatic Drainage Therapy) myofascial cupping, relaxation and hot stone therapy.

While firm pressure is his strength, relaxation and comfort are still the ideal goal. Mark was drawn to massage therapy because of his own active lifestyle. A lifelong athlete and former semi-professional soccer player who loves to hike, mountain bike, run, and ski, Mark noticed how massage therapy and chiropractic helped keep his body moving when he was competing. His sporting background is largely what inspired him to pursue a career as an RMT upon arriving in Canada with his wife in 2007. He enjoys the challenge of working with clients who have been in car accidents, have chronic pain, or repetitive strain injuries as well as helping prevent and treat injuries in professional and amateur athletes.

Mark believes in drawing from both his education and his own injury management to specifically tailor each session to the needs of the client. However, he also believes that healing comes from within and everyone should make it a priority to help themselves with effective home care involving stretching and hydrotherapy. He encourages his clients to seek out many healthcare options to find the formula that works for them. Prior to becoming a massage therapist, Mark had a successful career as an environmental scientist in his native Australia, including 7 years teaching in Australian universities. He took his 1st year of massage training at the Whistler School of Massage before completing a 2200 hour Massage Therapy diploma at MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy, where he also currently serves as an instructor.

Dr. Haroldson is originally from North Vancouver, BC, where she grew up skiing on the local mountains and competing in soccer and basketball. Her interests in movement and anatomy led her to complete her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. She practiced for two years as a kinesiologist in the Vancouver area prior to returning to school and completing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon.

Jamie's background in rehabilitation and active care has provided her with the experience to address and understand pain and injury from its foundation in movement. She believes that through strong communication and collaboration, she can better understand each patient's needs and goals, and develop a plan to get them back to doing what they love.
Her treatment may include education, spinal and extremity manipulation and mobilization, various soft tissue therapies, movement, and exercise.

Outside of work, Jamie loves to spend her time exploring the mountains with her partner and their Husky. Depending on the season, you can find her cycling, hiking, backpacking, or skiing. She also tries to sneak away to Shuswap lake as much as possible, where her parents now call home.
