A statement made by 4-year-old as I was rushing him during the morning chaos of getting to preschool & to my office on time. What a wonderful reminder to pause, mindfully observe our surroundings, and appreciate the little things. These simple acts can bring a sense of calm during times of stress. Hope everyone has a great Friday!

‘Tis the season of giving 🎁🎅

We have collaborated with to participate in an Adopt-A-Family initiative, supporting 2 very well-deserving families in Calgary who are in need of a little extra help this Christmas. Many of their Wishlist items have already been fulfilled thanks to the generosity and kindness of others. However, there are still a few items remaining & we would appreciate your help in crossing them off the list! Please DM or email either of us to arrange a time to collect your donations, by Dec 21 at the latest.

Items in need are:

Family 1:
Father: socks

Family 2:
Grocery cards for Christmas dinner
Mom: shampoo or hand cream
Dad: zip-up hoodie (size S, black or navy)
Boy (age 14): sweater (size M Men’s, no zipper)
Girl (age 5): markers/crayons/pencil crayons for school
Girl (age 2): any toys for ages 2-3 years old

Throwback Thursday…Last year around holiday season I had my little boy help pick out a donation via these very cool vending machines (ps- those machines are back again this year, head over to to find one)

Had the pleasure of speaking with a lovely group of new mamas today! It absolutely warmed my heart to witness the close friendship these ladies have developed, where each of them felt comfortable enough to share their vulnerabilities, fears, tears, and other emotions regarding new mom life.

This is exactly the type of village every new mom needs 👏👶

Happy Halloween!!! 🎃 👻

My toddler attended a Halloween-themed interactive puppet show a few days ago, filled with all sorts of spooky creatures. At first, he was super afraid of them, but later walked right up and played with them! It was a good reminder that befriending your fears can help you face and push past them!
