We believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and seen. Exactly as they are. 👓✨

Whether it’s in the classroom or on the playground, standing up against bullying means creating a world where every kid can thrive. Today, we wear pink to celebrate kindness, inclusion, and empathy.

Bullying can target the very things that make us unique—like wearing glasses or managing a vision condition.

Let’s remind our kids that:
Kindness is a superpower. 🦸‍♂️
Supporting our peers makes us stronger. 🤝
Inclusion means everyone gets to see a bright future. 🌟

Today and every day, let’s choose to see the best in one another.

Screens are everywhere, but a great way to support your child’s vision might just be a trip to the park. 🌳

Research shows that outdoor time is a powerful tool for slowing myopia (nearsightedness) in kids.

- Sunlight is Key: Natural light can signal the eye to stop growing too long from front to back (the cause of nearsightedness).
- Looking at distant objects lets eye muscles relax after hours of "near work" like tablets and homework.
- Aim for 120 minutes outside per day. Walking to school and cloudy afternoons count!

Bottom line: More "Green Time" means less "Screen Time" and potentially a weaker glasses prescription down the road. 👓✨

For a long time, myopia was seen as just a prescription to be updated. But today, Optometrists are shifting to a “more than glasses” mindset.

We now know that through evidence-based techniques—like specialized contact lenses, myopia-control glasses, and eye drops—we can actually slow down the elongation of the eye.

The goal? Clearer vision today and a reduced risk of serious eye diseases tomorrow.

Is your child’s prescription increasing every year? Don't just change the lenses—change the trajectory of their eye health.

As myopia progresses, the risk of developing serious sight-threatening conditions later in life increases significantly. One of those conditions is Glaucoma.

What’s the link? When a child’s eye grows too long (the physical cause of myopia), the internal structures of the eye are stretched and thinned. This structural change can make the optic nerve more vulnerable to damage, increasing the risk of glaucoma—a leading cause of irreversible blindness.

The good news? Taking proactive steps now to slow the progression of myopia in children can help reduce their risk of developing glaucoma and other complications in adulthood.
