POV: your entire life becomes one giant optimization project.
Trying to:
work 40+ hours, heal your inner child, hit 10k steps, eat 120g of protein, drink enough water, take magnesium glycinate, maintain glowing skin, regulate your nervous system, answer texts, keep your house clean, see your friends, be emotionally available, limit screen time, AND somehow still wake up at 5am to do a “slow intentional morning routine.”
Meanwhile your nervous system is like: “respectfully… absolutely not.”
Like why does being “healthy” suddenly feel like managing a professional athlete’s training schedule while also being a functioning adult under capitalism?
At some point wellness stopped feeling supportive and started feeling like a full-time performance review.
Maybe you’re not bad at self-care. Maybe you’re just tired of turning every part of your existence into a self-improvement project.
