Hemorrhoids: What You Need to Know
Hemorrhoids, commonly known as piles, are swollen veins in the lower re**um or a**s, similar to varicose veins in the legs. Ignoring them can lead to discomfort and, in some cases, unbearable pain.

Types of Hemorrhoids:
Hemorrhoids are generally categorized into two main types:
Internal Hemorrhoids: Located inside the re**um and usually painless but may bleed.
External Hemorrhoids: Found under the skin around the a**s, causing discomfort and pain.

Some classifications also include mixed or combined hemorrhoids, occurring above and beneath the dentate line.

If you're experiencing symptoms, it's important to consult a healthcare professional for proper diagnosis and treatment. Don't suffer in silence—get informed and take action for relief!

☝️Remember, early recognition and appropriate care can greatly improve your comfort and well-being. If you have questions or need further information, feel free to reach out. We're here to support you in managing hemorrhoids and promoting your health.

📣Clinic Closure Notice for Canada Day📣

Please be advised that our clinic will be closed on Monday, July 1st, in observance of Canada Day. We will resume regular operations on Tuesday July 2nd.

We wish everyone a safe and joyous long weekend celebration of Canada Day! Enjoy the festivities, and remember to stay hydrated. 💧Drinking plenty of water can help prevent and manage hemorrhoids by keeping your stools soft and reducing straining during bowel movements.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Happy Canada Day🇨🇦! Stay safe and healthy!

💡 Thursday Tip: Exploring A**l Fissure Grades

A**l fissures can vary in severity, and understanding their different gradings is crucial for effective treatment. Here is our Guoyi Proctology Grading System for A**l Fissure that will guide you:

•Grade 1: Acute fissure – Fresh cut
Within 6-8 weeks, the tear is fresh and simple, whereas elasticity is poor, so no chronic ulcer is formed. The fibers of the longitudinal muscle are exposed.
on the wound surface.
•Grade 2: Ulcer forming stage
The wound edge is raised with induration. Wound granulation tissue is not fresh and there are apparent ulcers.
•Grade 3: Ulcer formed stage
In old chronic a**l fissures with a history of recurrence, the base of the fissure is deep, and the wound’s margin is irregular, hard, and stiff.
Complications may arise due to the inflammation. Examples include
sentinel pile, hemorrhoids, hypertrophied papillae, a**l cryptitis, and subcutaneous fistula.
•Grade 4: Ulcer with multiple complexities
Aside from the symptoms of grade 3 a**l fissures, the fissures will cause complications, which present with superficial subcutaneous fistula and true fistula.

🩺Take control of your health and seek early treatment for better results!
Stay Informed and take care of yourself!
Have a wonderful Thursday!

🧠Understanding A**l Fissures and How to Prevent Them 🧠
An a**l fissure is a tear or cut in the a**s or inside the a**l ca**l, a common issue often mistaken for hemorrhoids. Key symptoms include pain, a**l bleeding, itching, constipation, and more.

There are two types:
Acute fissures heal within 2-6 weeks.
Chronic fissures persist beyond 8 weeks with varying symptoms.
Causes include constipation, diarrhea, and other factors. Effective management involves understanding these causes.

👩‍⚕️ Prevention Tips:
1. Manage constipation and diarrhea promptly.
2. Stay hydrated; avoid excessive alcohol and caffeine.
3. Respond to bowel urges promptly.
4. Avoid prolonged straining on the toilet.
5. Keep the a**l area clean and dry.
6. Avoid irritants like scented soaps.
7. Consider clinical 20mlEnema when straining.
For acute fissures: Sitz baths and OTC creams are helpful.

🔍 When to Seek Help: If symptoms persist despite home care, consult a healthcare professional. Chronic fissures may need prescription medication or surgery.

At N.A. Hemorrhoids, we specialize in the treatment and management of anorectal diseases. Our dedicated team is here to provide you with compassionate care and effective solutions.
