Today, our residents and team pause to honour and remember all who have served and sacrificed for peace—here in Canada and around the world.

We pay tribute to the brave men and women who answered the call of duty, whether in Canada’s Armed Forces or in the service of other nations. Many of our residents hold personal stories and connections to these moments in history, and we are proud to recognize their courage and contributions.

May we never forget the cost of freedom, and may we always stand united in gratitude and remembrance.

Today’s Halloween Costume Parade was a frightfully fun success! From some classics to some hilarious surprises, every costume brought smiles, laughter, and lots of applause. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this day so special — you truly made Halloween a treat!

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in our pumpkin carving and best costume contests— your creativity was wickedly impressive! The best pumpkin as voted on and neighbourhood involvement is Fairwinds ( #4). The best costume goes to the Codes of the Month crew.

From spooky designs to creative masterpieces, it was all about fun, teamwork, and a dash of Halloween magic. The pumpkins are ready to be judged—who do you think will take home the prize?

Who needs regular bocce balls when you’ve got mini pumpkins? Our residents rolled into fall spirit today with a festive twist on a classic game — Pumpkin Bocce Ball! Laughter, strategy, and a few runaway pumpkins made for the perfect autumn afternoon. 🍁

Today we said farewell to Laureen, who spent her last day with us after close to 19 incredible years.

It's hard to put into words the impact she's had over the years — her dedication, warmth, and unwavering commitment shaped not only the work we do but the community we value so deeply.

Laureen, thank you for everything. You've left a lasting mark, and you'll be truly missed. Wishing you all the best in your next exciting chapter!

A Special Visitor with the Fluffiest Cuteness!

Today, our hearts were full and smiles were endless as a very special guest stopped by — a 7-week-old baby alpaca came to visit our wonderful seniors!

With her soft fleece, wobbly little legs, and gentle nature, this sweet alpaca brought joy, laughter, and plenty of photo ops to everyone in the room. It was a truly magical moment watching our residents light up!

On September 10, four of our residents participated in the 1st annual Generations Championship. They challenged themselves against 10 other seniors homes and brought back medals. All are looking forward to going again next year.

Today was filled with sweet smells, sweet treats, and even sweeter company! ❤️

We spent the afternoon baking delicious goodies together, sharing stories over cups of tea, and even dancing to some classic tunes that got everyone smiling and moving! 🎶

There’s nothing quite like the laughter, wisdom, and warmth that fills the room when our seniors come together. Thank you to everyone who joined us – you made it unforgettable!
