We are shouting it from the rooftops because our Christmas Market was a huge success. To bring this festive day to life, our residents whipped through eighteen pounds of butter, twenty five pounds of flour, and heaps of fruit and minced meat for our residents baking table with shortbread cookies, pies, tarts, squares and more. All that hard work paid off in the most incredible way.

Thanks to the amazing support of our residents, resident family members, and guests, we raised $5000 in cash donations & collected 243 pounds of food for the Canadian Veterans Services Society Food Bank. We are proud to stand behind such an important cause.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful vendors who join us year after year: Bella Cards, Crafted with Love, Jan Wittstrom, Style in Motion, Tricia Voll Photography, Arbonne, Treasures, Cabi Clothing, The Paper Sisters, Pattersons Woodworking, Tupperware, and Rae Dunphy Aromatiques.

Today, our community at Prominence Way gathered to honour Remembrance Day.

Together, we paused to reflect on the courage and sacrifice of those who served and those who continue to serve to protect our freedom.

Our residents took part in the ceremony by reading poems and stories that reminded us of the strength, resilience, and bravery of our veterans. It was a meaningful time of remembrance and reflection for all.

We will always remember.

What a fun afternoon we had at Prominence Way! Our residents showed off their creativity and spirit during our Halloween Costume Parade. From classic characters to clever disguises, everyone brought their best costumes and plenty of laughter. Thank you to all who joined in and made this spooky celebration such a memorable one!

What an incredible day we had on Saturday! Our residents, family members, and friends had a wonderful time participating in this year’s Step ‘n Stride with the Parkinson Association of Alberta. The sun was shining, the energy was high, and our Lifestyles Manager, Teri, led a great warm-up before the walk.

Some of our residents proudly completed 1 km, while others went the full 3 km — such an inspiring effort by all.

Thank you to everyone for supporting us. So far we have raised over $5000 and we are still gratefully accepting donations. If you missed donating before the walk and would like to help us top up our goal, please let us know. Every contribution makes a difference.

What a perfect day for a car show! Our residents and community members enjoyed a fantastic display of vintage vehicles, including Model Ts, Model As, and a Firebird. A big thank you to everyone who participated, and a special thanks to JR for helping to organize such a great event! We can hardly wait to do it again next year. ; ;
