Let’s clear up a common misconception: holistic doesn’t mean hooey.

In the world of health and wellness, the term ‘holistic’ often gets a bad rap. Many people think it’s just ‘new-age nonsense’ or unproven theories. But in reality, holistic care simply means looking at the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—and understanding that these parts are deeply interconnected.

For example, when I work with a patient using Manual Osteopathic Therapy (MOT), I'm not just treating symptoms like back pain. I’m assessing how their posture, emotional stress, lifestyle, and even nutrition play a role in their overall health. This comprehensive approach can lead to long-term healing, not just short-term fixes. 🌱

Osteopathy is life changing. It really is. For people like myself and so many others, finding Osteopathy is transformative.

For nearly 20 years, I worked with countless other modalities trying to find relief for my chronic low back pain. And they all worked..... momentarily. But after a few hours or if I was lucky a couple of days, the pain would return.

It wasn't until I found Manual Osteopathy that I actually began improving! I went from being completely controlled by pain, on pain prescriptions and seeing practitioners weekly to seeing my Osteopath every 4-8 weeks, off the prescriptions and able to return to all my previously loved activities and hobbies with mild modifications.

When you find the modality and practitioner that authentically fit you, your life will change.
