Ethos Collective Physiotherapy

Ethos Collective Physiotherapy Your body is connected. Your healing should be too. At ETHOS Collective Physiotherapy, we treat the whole system so you can move, breathe, and live with ease.

At ETHOS Collective Physiotherapy, you’ll find a different kind of care. I don’t believe in band-aid solutions. I believe in getting to the root of what’s going on in your body so you can experience real, lasting change. With over 15 years of experience as a physiotherapist, I’ve treated a wide variety of injuries and conditions, from everyday aches and pains to more complex issues. My approach is always whole-body and holistic, because nothing in the body works in isolation. Along the way, I’ve also developed extensive experience helping clients with jaw-related problems (TMJD), an area that’s often overlooked but deeply connected to the rest of the system. Whether you’re dealing with persistent pain, limited mobility, or unexplained tension, I focus on understanding the bigger picture of what your body needs. Please note: the hours listed on Facebook or Google aren’t always accurate. While most appointments are during regular business hours, I do sometimes open up after-hours or weekend slots. If you need flexibility, just reach out to see what can be arranged. At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to help you move and feel better in your body. Not just for today, but for the long run.

I work with people who have jaw tension/pain, clicking, locking, headaches, and other TMJ-related issues and I approach it a little differently. Most treatments focus only on the jaw itself, but in reality, TMJD is often connected to the whole body: your posture, breathing, digestion, fascia, and nervous system all play a role.

I help people understand these connections, identify what’s contributing to their symptoms, and give them practical tools to start feeling relief and regain function.

If you’re curious about a holistic approach that looks at the entire system, I wrote a blog post explaining exactly how I treat TMJD and why many people don’t get the results they’re hoping for.

I’ll be brutally honest with you, treating TMJD (temporomandibular joint dysfunction) is one of the most misunderstood and fragmented areas in healthcare. If you’ve ever been bounced around from specialist to specialist, dentist, ENT, chiropractor, physiotherapist, only to end up feeling frustra

If you’ve been feeling stuck lately or wondering why change feels so hard, this one’s for you. My latest blog post dives into the quiet power of small, consistent action. The thing that truly moves the needle when it comes to healing or creating real change in your life 💫

I had a conversation with a client recently. She’s been dealing with a few ongoing health issues and said something I hear often: “I know what I should be doing, but I can’t seem to be energized or motivated to do it.” She felt stuck. Here’s what I told her: it’s not the big changes that...

Hey there 👋 I’ve noticed a few new faces around here, so I thought I’d reintroduce myself. I’m Christine. I was trained as a physical therapist over 16 years ago (wild, right?) and my work has evolved into something much deeper than traditional physio.

It’s now this beautiful blend of science, intuition, and deep respect for the body’s natural intelligence.

Alongside my in-person physiotherapy practice (which I run from home), I also have an online holistic coaching business where I help people reconnect with their bodies, their breath, and themselves. My approach is rooted in curiosity, alignment, and addressing the system… not just the symptoms.

My husband, and honestly, a lot of people who know me, call me “the vibe engineer.” ✨

I just love creating beautiful things… spaces, experiences, food, music, visuals. I’m obsessed with the details that make life feel rich and inspired.

I really do believe beauty is medicine. That what we see, taste, and feel shapes how we show up in the world. Details matter.

I’ve always been a bit of a trailblazer and more so the older I get. I tend to go against the grain, trust my intuition, and lead by example. I’ve traveled a lot, and I’m admittedly a bit of a food snob (in the best way). I appreciate good food, quality ingredients, and the art of creating things with intention.

Recently, I moved to Squamish, BC. Rebuilding a practice from the ground up isn’t always easy, but honestly, that’s where the magic tends to happen. It’s a bit of a clean slate🌿

…and since there are so many new faces here, a few fun facts about me:

✔️I can parallel park anywhere - I’m actually really good! 🚗
✔️French is my first language 🇫🇷
✔️I have a HUGE world restaurant list on my phone - it’s kind of legendary 😏
✔️Favorite city: Paris ✨
✔️Place where I’m most at peace: Costa Rica 🌊🌴
✔️I take my coffee black but enjoy a strong cortado once in a while

I’m back with a new blog post! I wanted to take a moment to share a little about who I am, my vision for Ethos Collective Physiotherapy, and a little life update! Come take a peek and get to know me a bit better!

I’m a physiotherapist, a small business owner, and apparently a professional at moving… frequently. My husband and I just made our latest move (yes, again!) and we are now living by the ocean in beautiful Squamish, BC . Trails, beaches, lakes, skiing, and the city are all close by, which is perf...

I’m Christine Ziade, new to Squamish, and I’m so excited to connect with new people!
I run Ethos Collective Physiotherapy as the owner and sole practitioner, offering both in-home sessions and treatments at my own practice. I’ve been told I’m not like other therapists. I don’t just treat symptoms, I look at the whole system. I also have extensive experience with TMJD (jaw dysfunction), which is something many practitioners struggle to treat effectively.
Check out my coaching page on Instagram () for free tips, advice, and insights on optimizing your health, or my website (www.ethoscollectivephysiotherapy.com) for physiotherapy info.

Don’t be shy, send me a DM on IG or FB, follow along, and let’s connect!

First page of the book BREATH by James Nestor. Let that first page sink in 🤯

Over the years, we have once again started to “reinvent” an old science and a lost art. The art of BREATHING 🫁 It’s a hot topic and it’s time that we all give it the attention it deserves.

In my practice, the topic and practice of breathing comes up on the daily. Breathing is integral for the optimal function of the organs, nerves and musculoskeletal system.

I love that the author addresses in chapter one the effects of dysfunctional breathing at an early age and how it can cause long-term physical and psycho emotional effects on the body.

For example, a late introduction to solid foods can lead to poor bone/jaw teeth development and muscular development. Which can then lead to a high arched palate. This, can make you breathe more from your mouth than your nose. With a narrow palate and being a mouth breather, the teeth will start to crowd. Braces and palate expanders might be needed. Often, mouth breather have jaw dysfunction, neck problem, sleep apnea, under developed mouth, throat and skull. The list goes on...I guess you can say, breathing is IMPORTANT!! (And we’re just scratching the surface here).

Starting with a daily breathwork practice is the first step in restoring balance and harmony in your body. It’s an easy and cheap way to nudge it in the right direction.

I highly recommend this book (even though I haven’t finished it yet) for anybody interested in investing in their health and well-being! It’s never too late to start. Happy reading 🤓
