Did you know the beautiful Newfoundland Pony is a critically endangered species? 💚💜

I feel so incredibly fortunate to have been trusted with the care of 5 of these rare gems during a recent farm sit at Poppy's Haven 💚💜

It was my first time meeting the breed, and I was blown away by how smart and charming they are 💚💜

I even had the privilege of working with two of them in Equine Assisted Learning and Horse Powered Reading® programs 💚💜

This is an amazing, rare breed worth protecting! 💚💜

My first traveling EAL facilitator gig 💜💚

It was an honour Huron Women's Shelter to host your group at Poppy's Haven and work alongside Vanessa, Bonnie and the volunteers 💜💚

Thank you to Poppy's Haven, Bonnie Taylor Counselling and Unhaltered Hope Equine Assisted Learning for hosting an amazing session this past Saturday with the women and children from our Second Stage Program!

It was such a fun day with lots of equine connection and joy. We appreciate all of these kind-hearted volunteers! 🐴💕

How would you describe your horse? 💜💚

It's a question we, as Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) facilitators, ask our participants at the end of their first program 💚💜

Eden was described "she needs clear direction" 💚💜

This was a very powerful observation.
Eden is one of those horses that isn't looking for a perfect leader, she is waiting for a clear leader 💚💜

And often, so are we 💚💜
