a few of my favorite things: vacay edition 🌴

basking in the nourishing rays of the sun, taking moments to prioritize my self care with a massage on the beach, saying yes to all of the things - even hot dog lunches by the pool, flowing with the rhythm of the day with poolside / wagon / beach naps, staying active with sunrise runs along the beach

post inspired by my gal 🥰

motherhood is a soft unraveling
a quiet invitation to loosen your grip

to release the timelines, the expectations, the pressure

it asks you to trust—
in the chaos, in the rhythm, in the becoming

to trade control for presence

because somewhere between the mess and the magic,
you realize…

it was never meant to be controlled
only felt,
only lived,
only loved

the most valuable lesson: surrender.

-lots of lemon juice
-greek seasoning from .ca

This letter / sound game is our favorite new homeschool activity!

My 4 year old son and I made it up, and tbh it’s so fun to both of us! It’s fast paced, so he never gets bored, and he’s so eager to keep going with new letters and sounds!

here’s how we play:
1) Make the “game board” which is basically a big piece of papers with letters on it, with corresponding cards to match later in the game. Our letters are printed and laminated from &
2) Pick a letter card, and on a piece of separate paper, write it out, and have him copy the letter on the same page. Practicing his writing skills.
3) Have him think of some words / names / animals / foods that start with that letter & write them out
4) Run around the couch 3x than match the letter cards to the game board!

So fun, and a great way to encourage a love of learning and letter work!

THE raw carrot salad 🥕

This humble salad, inspired by the work of Ray Peat, has become a gentle ally in supporting hormone balance. Not through extremes, but through consistency… through nourishment… through care.

The raw fibers of the carrot move through the body,
helping to bind and es**rt excess estrogen from the gut, supporting the pathways that keep us feeling clear, steady, and in rhythm.

Paired with olive oil to enhance absorption,
apple cider vinegar to awaken digestion,
and a pinch of mineral-rich salt—
it becomes more than food. It becomes intention.

A small act of self-care, woven into your day.
A reminder that supporting your hormones doesn’t have to be complicated - it can be as simple as coming back to the basics, again and again.

Ingredients:
• 1 medium raw carrot (peeled into ribbons)
• 1 tsp olive oil
• 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
• Pinch of sea salt
• Optional: drizzle of honey or maple syrup

Mason Jar Chicken Noodle Soup 🍜

So easy to eat on the go, we had ours at the ski hill! This recipe would be perfect for meal prep, for something to bring to the office for an easy and nourishing lunch on the go!

-Start with a powdered bone broth (this is key to having a flavorful soup) I used beef broth from .yyc along with a few simple spices like garlic and ginger
-Next add uncooked noodles, I used brown rice / millet noodles from costco
-Add in your protein & vegetables of choice!

When you’re ready to eat, simply top with boiling water, cover with a lid and let it cook for 5 minutes or until the noodles are soft!

What flavor combination should I try next? 🍜

office lunch, lunch on the go, soup, easy lunch, meal prep, mason jar
