Yeah we all want glowing, clear perfect, glass skin but….
what’s really underrated is healthy skin. It doesn’t take a ton of products to get to healthy skin. We are constantly reminded on social media about something known as “glass skin” and how it’s perfect….. something we should all aim to achieve. So you look at your skin and notice the slightest bit of texture, dark spot, uneven skin tone and compare it to those who have glass skin then assume that your skin isn’t great.
Although there are products to address all these concerns, you have to develop the mindset that we are humans and things are bound to happen even when you’re doing it all right. You need to understand that not everyone with glass skin has healthy skin. They’re skin may just not exhibit the signs of unhealthy skin
Here are signs that your skin is healthy
• Your skin doesn’t feel tight or dry, it just feels normal
• Your skin feels hydrated and you don’t feel like you need to use a moisturizer (yes, they’re two different things)Check out my post on hydrating vs moisturizing
• Even with dry skin, you are hydrated
• Your breakouts are mostly controlled
• You are diligent with sun protection and apply sunscreen EVERYDAY even indoors
