But it also reflects back from the body what you’ve been feeling too… the anxiety, worry and pressure, . And what you’ve not been able to stomach from others… stories, experiences, opinions… from family members, friends, society.

To me society has always been very much “pick a side” since childhood.

Right vs left.
This group vs that group.
Us vs them.

But underneath all that we literally all want the same thing…

Peace
Safety
Freedom.
To feel heard
To protect our family

Yet we have been trained to see each other as enemies.

But what if the real problem isn’t the person on the other side?

What if the real problem is the constant programming that keeps us divided, distracted, angry, and easier to control?

Because when we stop fighting each other…

We can finally start asking better questions…

And maybe, just maybe…

Peace starts when we remember we are all tired of it all, a bit scared of it all, and doing our best to find our way home to ourselves.

1. What have you not been able to be angry about? In my work the jaw is on the stomach and heart meridians which holds hold worry and the anxiety of always being responsible for everything and everyone.

2. Who broke your trust? You feel like you’re never safe and can’t understand why. This can be happening on a conscious or unconscious level.

3. What are you anxious about and have no idea why? Holding dread for no reason. That feeling that no matter what you do, it’s never enough.

4. When did you last feel truly safe? Like… being able to rest without guilt and pulling out a “to do” list in your head.

5. Your face is revealing secrets that the body hasn’t said out loud?
I am never just looking at muscles or skin. I am looking at the whole picture.

1. Your body knows when you’re not fine… that’s why its signalling to you through pain and other symptoms.
2. Rest can feel weird when your body is used to stress.
3. You can’t think your way out of feeling unsafe.
4. Being busy all the time is not always a good thing.
5. Snapping at people is often your body saying, “I’m trying to juggle too much”
6. You might be used to rushing, but you are never actually being productive.
7. You can love people and still feel drained by them.
8. Your tight jaw might be holding old anger, stress but its also connected to the stomach and heart meridian so other emotions can come up around that too.
9. Your body won’t let go just because you tell it to.
10. Deep breathing won’t help much if your body still feels unsafe.
11. You may not need more discipline. You may need more calm in your life. Saying no and slowing down.
12. Your body remembers things your mind tries to ignore.
13. Saying “I’m easygoing” can sometimes mean “I don’t ask for what I actually need.”
14. If rest makes you feel guilty, you may have learned to always be useful.
15. You can’t heal while always trying to prove you’re not too much.
16. Pushing through everything doesn’t make you strong. Sometimes it just teaches your body to shut up.
17. Feeling lazy is sometimes being frozen.
18. Being regulated doesn’t mean you’re calm all the time.
19. Your body lets go when it finally feels safe.
20. You don’t need another long ass program, just start with a single session to get you feeling safe first. Start there 💗
