A huge 50th Happy Birthday to our office manager, Mark! Anyone who has been at the clinic in the last 20 years will know Mark! We got him some old man things: Maltesers, Large Print Word Searches, Hickory Sticks, Glanmorgan Cheese Buns (good for any age) and some really old rum. 🎉🎂🍾🎈

The ski and snowboard boots are put away for the season. All the on field and outdoor court sports have started. Unfortunately we are seeing a lot more people with ankle sprains and Achilles muscle/tendon tears. Talk to your physio about strategies to decrease the chance of these injuries 🦵⚽️⚾️🏀🎾🏉🏈🏃‍♀️🚵🏼‍♀️

The tradition continues for 19 years now! 🎄❤️ For our Christmas party at Marda Loop Physio we randomly choose a name and buy a children’s gift that reminds us of that person. Everyone has to guess who they believe the gift is supposed to represent. We then bundle all the gifts together and donate them to a local charity that has a need for toys. For the past three years we have donated the gifts to a wonderful volunteer run group , “Made by Momma” ❤️🎄👩‍🍼. “Made by Momma” provides food, clothing, toys and support to mothers and young children facing situations of adversity and crisis. We had an inspiring professional development session focused on Upper Extremity Nerve Injuries, led by Carmen Dunn, a Physiotherapist and Certified Hand Therapist. It’s truly energizing to collaborate with physiotherapists who are passionate about expanding their knowledge and mastering innovative treatment approaches.
