To all of the parents that are watching their kiddos walk into school today for the first time, or even the 12th time. This can be a hard day! This can be a day of big feelings for everyone.

So its time for a big DEEP BREATH from deep down in your belly.
Exhale let tension from your jaw and shoulders follow your breath out of your body.
Feel your roots deep into the floor/earth below you.

Take a moment to see how absolutely amazing your kiddo is, all that they have accomplished so far, and that you were there to support and witness that! Well Done!

Along side traditional talk therapy, Craniosacral work can be beneficial at working with the symptoms of anxiety, stress, and recovering from trauma. I work with people of all ages, so if you are curious please get in touch with me!

Thank you all for your patience as I have moved to a new clinic space!

I have found a new space to place my table, and I've had some time to rest and recoup. I am looking forward to showing you all the new space starting August 1st!

Winter Solstice Thoughts...

To me, this day represents a returning of the light, and a promise that spring will return. Every day from now until June the days will be a little longer, a little warmer, and a little brighter. There are so many influences that can take us into dark thoughts, negativity, and distrust - it has been especially hard this year not be affected by this heaviness. Today is the day that the balance between the light and the dark begins to shift - maybe the dark seems to have less of a hold and hopefully we can all feel that influence.

So may your lessons be gentle and your love be expansive. Just as the earth tilts itself gently towards the sun I hope you feel yourself tilt towards hope and greater balance. That warmth in your heart is important to grow and share it with those that you love.
