You tell your physio your back has been sore for monthsâŠ
Meanwhile, your back has been trying to tell you itâs exhausted from being stuck in one position all day.
Muscles stiffen.
Joints compress.
Circulation slows.
And then weâre shocked when everything feels tight and cranky.
The good news?
Small, consistent movement breaks actually work. Standing up every 30â60 minutes can help reset your system and take pressure off your spine.
If your back is starting to complain, donât ignore it. Letâs figure out whatâs really going on and get you moving better â no career change required.
Book in with our physio team and give your spine some backup.

That headache that starts at the base of your skull⊠and wraps around into your eye?
Itâs often not âjust a headache.â
Itâs your neck.
Tension in the upper traps and levator scap, old slips or jolts, posture strain â it can all throw the top of your neck off and create that deep, one-sided, nagging pain.
The good news? When we restore movement, release the tight muscles, and strengthen whatâs weak, those tension headaches can settle down.
If this sounds familiar, book in at the link below.

This is Kelly.
Kellyâs back ârandomlyâ started hurting.
At least⊠thatâs what Kelly says.
Kelly also sits for 8 hours a day.
Eats lunch at her desk.
Answers emails in the car before walking into work.
And considers refilling her coffee a âmovement break.â
But sure.
It came out of nowhere. đ
Hereâs the thing â your body loves movement. It does not love being folded into an office chair like a lawn chair at a soccer game.
When your back keeps nagging you, itâs not being dramatic. Itâs sending feedback. Loudly.
The good news? Kelly didnât have to quit her job, buy a standing desk treadmill combo, or start training for a marathon. She just needed a proper assessment and a realistic plan that fit her actual life.
Now Kellyâs back is much less sarcastic.
If youâre feeling personally attacked⊠it might be time to book your physio assessment and start feeling better.
We start with your normal walk, then gently layer in more challenge. Walking with feet closer together. Keeping your eyes up. Moving slowly and with control. These gait drills show us how your brain manages coordination, focus, and stability after a concussion.
Itâs not about perfection â itâs about patterns. And those patterns help guide your recovery safely and confidently.
If walking, balance, or coordination feels âoffâ after a hit or fall, thatâs your sign to get it checked. A clear plan starts with a proper assessment.

Ever wonder what actually happens during a concussion assessment? đ
One of the first things we look at is balance.
Simple standing drills help us see how your brain and body are communicating after a concussion.
Feet together. One foot in front of the other. Small adjustments that tell us a lot.
These tests help us understand where youâre at so we can meet you there and build a recovery plan that makes sense for you.
If youâve had a hit, fall, or âjust felt offâ moment and youâre unsure what to do next, an assessment is a great place to start.

For some people, gently pulling a knee toward the chest feels better.
For others, a gentle press-up or arch is what calms things down.
Try both.
Whichever movement eases your pain is the one your body is asking for.
And if youâre still unsure, or the pain keeps coming back, thatâs your sign to come see us. Weâll assess whatâs going on and help you get lasting relief â not just a temporary fix.

Shockwave therapy is one of the tools we use at Nose Creek to help sore, stubborn tissues heal.
đ It works by sending gentle acoustic waves into the area, which boosts blood flow and helps your body produce more collagen â both important for healing. Some people even feel pain relief during treatment from the vibration.
đ You might notice a bit of an ache or hear a ticking sound during your session. Thatâs totally normal and just means the shockwave is doing its thing.
đŠ¶ Shockwave is especially helpful for ongoing tendon pain and is one of the go-to treatments for plantar fasciitis and heel pain.
If soft tissue pain has been hanging around longer than youâd like, shockwave might be a great option to help things move in the right direction.

Your lower back isnât meant to be rigid. It has a natural curve.
When that curve gets exaggerated, it can lead to discomfort, stiffness, and poor core support.
This simple pelvic tilt helps you reconnect with your core and gently reset your spine.
Small movements like this, done consistently, can make a big difference in how your back feels day to day.
If your lower back has been feeling tight or achy, this is a great place to start.

If youâve been quietly working around it, stretching it away, or hoping it would disappear on its own, youâre not alone. Most people wait longer than they mean to.
Pain is your body asking for support, not something youâre meant to push through forever. Whether itâs been weeks, months, or âI donât even remember anymore,â getting it checked can make all the difference.
Your body keeps the receipts.
We help you sort them out.

A few things I want you to know about my physiotherapy practice:
1.) We opened in 2001, in a small, 800 square foot office in Beddington Co-op Shopping mall. Now that clinic is over 3800 square feet, specializing in helping people to KEEP active AND maintain mobility and independence.
2.) Iâm a little concerned about the medical profession, and how we quickly just hand out pain medications. In fact, Iâm FIRMLY against âPAINKILLERSâ as a long term solution! Any solution you get from me or my team will be 100% NATURAL and should make a difference fast.
3.) I want you to leave EVERY session feeling very confident and clear about whatâs going to happen next - weâre NOTHING like some other PT clinics who like to just âsee how it goesââŠ.when you leave EACH visit with us you will know exactly where we are headed and what must be done (âŠand by whom!) moving forward, to reach your goals.
4.) Everything we do is for YOU. YOU are the reason we are here, YOU are the reason we do what we do and I promise we will do everything humanly possible to honor your time, and make experience here as fun, enjoyable and productive as possible.
IF there is ANYTHING that does not meet your total satisfaction, please let me know and I will resolve it. I value your input and NEED to know how we can improve our service to you.
âŠI want you to come to ANY of my clinics and enjoy the great experience we have waiting for you, all the while knowing that we WILL help you like you deserve and expect.
Thanks again for choosing usâŠ
Weâre ALL very grateful and I promise we will do our best to make sure you ENJOY your time with us.
