Where are you in this brilliant cycle of becoming?
I’m standing in the crone time of life & energy and I tell you it is quite a relief
The Maiden, Mother, Crone is not just a symbol of stages, it is a mirror of the identities you move through again and again in a single lifetime. Not in a straight line, not once, but in cycles that repeat every time you grow, break, rebuild, and return to yourself differently.
The Maiden is the part of you that begins. Curious, open, full of possibility. She is who you are before the world tells you who to be. The part of you that says yes, that explores, that trusts without fully understanding why.
The Mother is the part of you that creates. Not just life, but meaning, boundaries, stability, and direction. She is the version of you that learns responsibility, that nurtures what matters, that builds something real from experience.
And the Crone, the most misunderstood of all.
She is the part of you that sees clearly. The one who has nothing left to prove. The one who lets go of what no longer aligns without guilt. She is not the end, she is the truth you arrive at after everything else has been stripped away.
The mistake is thinking you only live each of these once.
You don’t.
You return to them every time you change.
Every time you start over, you are the Maiden again.
Every time you build something new, you become the Mother.
Every time you outgrow it, release it, or see through it, you step into the Crone.
And then the cycle begins again.
This is why growth can feel so disorienting. Because you are constantly becoming someone new while carrying the wisdom of who you’ve already been. You are learning how to hold innocence and experience, creation and release, softness and clarity, all within the same life.
You are not “losing yourself” when you change.
You are moving through your own cycle.
So if you feel like you’re starting over, like you’re rebuilding, like you’re letting go of things that once defined you.
That isn’t confusion.
That is evolution, happening exactly as it should.
You are not one fixed identity.
You are the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone, all at once, and always becoming.
